*December 25th*

[May runs out of her room and exits Naturata's Sphere. She follows the path to the town Everfell, not letting the drifting snow beneath her feet or the faint snowfall stop her. She stops at the huge Christmas tree at the center of the town. Most of the other months are gathered around, those including December, March, September, November, February, January, and July.]

May: IT'S CHRISTMAS!

March: Thanks, captain obvious.

May: My name isn't obvious.

March: Obviously.

May: Anyway, where's June?

July: June said he had an errand to do. He didn't tell me what.

May: Aww, I really wanted to give him this present.

[She holds up a tiny box that's the size of her palm.]

July: He should be here later, though!

May: Okay! What are we doing, now?

[February walks over.]

February: We're still setting up while we wait for people.

[March jumps onto the table, and looks towards the roof of his cabin.]

March: Hey, April! You should join us!

[April, in the far distance, turns away.]

March: O-Okay! Guess I'll see you soon!

November: April doesn't like Christmas; she hasn't gone to one her whole life. And- March, get down from that table.

[March lands onto the snow, but fails and face plants. November helps him up, and wipes off the snow.]

March: I'll make April come one way or another! This will be her first Christmas.

September: You said that last year.

March: Well, past me was dumb. I'll make sure things go right this time.

September: That's... also what you said last year.

March: Whatever.

February: I think it's sweet that you try every year to cheer her up and get her to come to the party.

[December climbs off of a ladder next to the Christmas tree, walking over to the months in panic.]

December: The star! It's missing!

May: Just look at the sky at night.

December: N-No! The star that goes on top of the tree! It's not in the supply box!

March: Supply box? Why did no one tell me about that?

November: Because you'd ravage the contents.

March: Nuh-uh!

December: More people will be coming soon, so we have to find the star before tonight!

February: It's okay! We have plenty of time!

[The months split into groups.]

[March and July]

March: I say, we look in the mythical mountains of mythicality to look for the sacred star.

July: What mythical mountains of mythicality?

March: I dunno, some people call it the Everfall Mountains; I think they're boring people.
