*April 21st*
[April is reading on the couch, while March is on his phone.]
March: This phone is awesome! You can talk with random people across Earth!
[He types something into the phone, then suddenly he angrily types.]
March: Well, I don't like your face either, pandalover59! SEND!
[He then accidentally presses too hard on the screen, causing the screen to shatter.]
March: Oops... oh well, who needs technology?
[The doorbell then rings, as March gets up and opens the door, revealing four of his friends: Domitan, Nicole, Janko, and Padmini.]
March: Ayy, you guys came! Welcome to my cabin.
Domitan: 'Sup little March.
[The four enter, and March closes the door.]
Nicole: Wow, this place looks nice.
Janko: Who knew March could clean so well?
March: Oh, guys! Meet my roommate, April!
[He points to her, but she doesn't respond, still staring at the book.]
Padmini: So you are really months.
Nicole: Hey, April, did you know it's your month?
[April doesn't respond.]
March: I think she'd know that. Are you guys hungry?
Janko: Starvin', man.
March: Alright.
[He walks to the kitchen and to the stove. He then turns the knob, but stops and notices a red button near it.]
March: Huh, I've never seen this before... Hm...
[He hovers his finger over the button.]
March: But wait, November said to never push random buttons... Ah, who cares what that guy thinks! Press!
[He pushes the button, and rumbling occurs, as particles fall gently from the ceiling, and the lights flicker. Suddenly, the rumbling and flickering stops.]
Domitan: Is everything okay there?
Nicole: Yeah, what's going on? Are you that bad at cooking?
March: No, I just found a strange button and stuff happened! I don't know what it did, though.
Padmini: Uh, guys? Check this out...
[Everyone walks to Padmini, who is pointing to an entrance to a stairway.]
March: Huh, that's odd. April, was there ever a basement in this cabin?
[April looks up from the book, and shakes her head.]
March: Weird... let's explore it!
Padmini: Are you sure we should be doing such things?
Janko: Why not? Seems like fun.
March: Yeah! All holes lead to an adventure.
Nicole: You're one to say that.
March: Hey, April, you should come with us!
[April shakes her head, still reading the book.]
March: Alright.
[March and his friends enter the stairway, as he holds up a lantern.]
Nicole: Why not just use a flashlight? Or even a phone?
