*May 27th*
[The stormy sky drips its rain onto the leaves, and the clouds swirled in disfigurement. The moon is nowhere to be seen, sweeping total darkness across the area. Inside the cabin, April is wide awake, sitting on her bed. She looks at the cards in her hands, shuffling them over and over, as thunder slightly shakes the ground.]
April: She misses me... she misses me...
[She picks up a queen of spades from the deck, and carefully looks at it. She then puts it over the candle next to her, but the card keeps extinguishing itself over and over. She closes her eyes and clenches her other fist, but the card refuses to catch on fire. Finally, she takes back the queen of spades, and puts it under her deck, loudly sighing.]
[May, June, July, and August lay on the grass, watching and observing the different cloud shapes.]
May: Oh, look, that one looks like a boat!
August: Which?
May: You found a witch cloud? Where?
August: Uh... never mind.
July: That one looks like Winter when she's angry!
May: All of them look like that.
July: Yeah, you're right.
May: Hey, June. Didn't you say you were gonna give me a gift?
June: Uh... I don't have it yet.
May: Oh... okay.
[A meow is heard, and Actinolite steps on May's face.]
May: Ow! Your claws are sharp!
[She gets up and pets Actinolite.]
May: But you're still a cutie.
[She leans close to Actinolite.]
May: Just like June, but don't tell him I said that.
[Spring calls May, and so she gets up and runs into Naturata's Sphere.]
May: Yes, Spring?
Spring: Have you sighted Autumn or any of his months anywhere?
May: No, I haven't seen them for a week.
Spring: It distresses my every waking moment that they do not appear to be around. If Autumn is to disappear, he must have the words to tell us, should he not?
May: Um... yeah!
[Spring anxiously paces back and forth.]
May: Spring, are you okay?
Spring: Do not worry for me. Go forth and frolic on the fields.
May: Uh... okay.
[May skips and exits the Sphere.]
[September's vision is hazy, as she hears a faint call for her name. Her eyes adjust, seeing November waving at her.]
November: Wake up.
[September groans, turning over in a sleeping bag. Finally, after some reluctance, September gets up and Autumn greets her.]
September: Ugh... why can't we just use your air powers to fly us there?
Autumn: This is to train you for any coming journeys. Don't worry, we'll be there today.
September: That's good, but are you sure we won't be needed back at the Sphere, Autumn?
Autumn: You've asked that question several times, and my answer has been and will always be no.
