Chapter 15

*Elli's POV*
James and Jamie are sleeping, were all fighting about who's going to wake them up, Ben said " let's do rock, paper, scissors and the last person out had to wake them up" "thats a good idea" I agreed, we all decide to do that, as childish as it sounds, it was Sam who lost so he has to wake them up. "do I have to" Said Sam, we all screamed "YES" so Sam went to wake them up. They came out and said "what time are we on?" "a hour an a half, so hurry up get ready, we missed sound check because of you guys, you owe us" I reply. They get ready and we head for the show but on the way there something happened.

*Ben's POV*
We were walking, talking, laughing, and fooling around. We came to a point where we had to cross the street me being foolish ran across with out looking and then I felt something hit me I look down and saw blood, I hear a voice call me it says "Ben, Ben, Ben stay with us" it kept saying that but it kept getting fainter and fainter until I couldn't hear it, than everything went black.

*Alexandria's POV*
We were heading to the venue when we were at a cross walk Ben just ran across and we screamed "Ben watch out", but it was too late a car already hit him he fell to the ground, I yelled "someone call a ambulance now!" Danny called a ambulance whilst James and Jamie stayed by Danny; Elli, Finn, Cam, And I stayed by Ben, Elli kept telling Ben "Ben, Ben, Ben stay with us" but soon he was gone, I could see Elli with her head in her hands, I heard her sniffling I patted her on the back and said "Elli, he's going to be fine, I promise" she chocked back tears and replied "what if he isn't, than what do I do" "I don't know, don't think that way" I told her, before she could reply, two paramedics came put Ben on a stretcher and wheeled him to the ambulance and asked "who would like to stay with him in the back?" "I will" Elli said with sadness in her voice, Danny patted her on the back and whispered something in her ear.

*Danny's POV*
We got to a cross walk and Ben being Ben, just ran across without looking, we saw a car coming and we all yelled "Ben, watch out" but it was too late a car tried to go around him, but swerved and lost control and hit him and he fell to the ground. Elli called him, but he didn't reply, shortly after that he fell unconscious. Than I saw Elli she had her head in her hands and was crying, Alexandria was comforting her. Than the ambulance came and asked "who would like to stay with him in the back?" "I will" she said sounding lost and sad. I patted her on the back and whispered "I'm sorry, he'll be ok I promise" she nodded, and hopped in and the ambulance rushed to the hospital. We took a taxi to the hospital and went in the waiting room filled with people who were sad, nervous, pregnant, and emotionless.

*Elli's POV*
I went into the ambulance, sat beside Ben and held his hands whilst one of the paramedics took care of his wounds. They asked me "are you his girlfriend?" "no his best friend" I replied back, they told me "I think he's going to be ok, it doesn't look to serious, but I'm not one to judge" I nod and sing 'A Match Into Water' but in my head seeing as there was a paramedic beside me,

When I got there they told me to go to the front desk and give them his information, I went to the front desk told them what they needed to know, scanned the room for Danny once I saw him I sat beside him and cried into his chest I keep repeating "why Ben, why Ben" Danny didn't respond, I need a smoke this was too much, "Danny I need a smoke or two, if anything happens send someone out for me" I told Danny, he nodded and I went outside lit a smoke inhaled the smoke and slowly blew it out, I felt like some of the weight was lifted off me, after about 4, I headed back inside, I slid back into my seat, after about five minutes I heard someone say "Benjamim Paul Bruce" I got up and Danny followed, once in the room I saw something that made me sick.
Ben was really pale, hooked up to a I.V, and there was a heart rate monitor thing it was showing he was alive I felt relived but horrified, the doctor cleared his throat and said" Mr. Bruce will be fine he has a broken leg, and a small head injury, other than that he's fine, all his vitals are normal, his heart rate is normal" I felt like all the weight was lifted off of me.
