Chapter Two

After I was done talking with Jade I decided to tidy my room. As I picked up cloths from the floor I find an envelope that was slipped under my door. I threw the cloths in the hamper and pick up the envelope. It was from Gabriel. Gabe was the nice one and Michael didn't talk all that much but from the vibe I got he was good too. Personally I think one of those two should be head angel instead of Adam.

Dear Ms. Rachel.
I've noticed some of your recent accomplishments these past few years. After some mistakes,hard work and much patience on both ends I've made the decision to promote you to the title Guardian. You are being put to work immediately. You're first assignment is Calum Hood. All I can tell you is he has asked for a Guardian. You will find him in New York. Good luck my dear and best wishes.

Oh snap. I wonder what he needs.

"Jade!" I yelled in her thoughts.

"Ah! What?"

"Guess who was just promoted to Guardian?"

"You?" She yelled back in excitement

"Yes!"

"Oh my gosh! Congrats. I knew you'd make it." She winked.

"I'm being put to work immediately and um guess who's my assignment is?"

"Luke?"

"Good guess. But no."

"Then who is it?" She asked confused.

"It's Calum."

" YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME DETAILS. AND LET ME MEET HIM. RACHEL. PLEASE." She yelled excited.

I smirked. "Chill, babe. I got this."

"I need to know everything you do. I want to know why he's asked for your help." She rushed out.

"I'm not sure. He's just asked for help. They won't tell me why. I have to ask him. As soon a I know I'll tell you." I explained.

"Do I get to see you while you're here?" She asked me.

"Most likely yes." I smiled. I could practically feel the excitement rolling off her.

"When do you leave?"

"Two days." I answered simply.

"Where's he located."

"New York."

She gave a sigh in response.

"That's pretty far from my destination." She shrugged. "I'll probably make it anyways."

I laughed. "I think you need to slow down there friend. Tell me what you're gonna do."

"I'm gonna find him and 'introduce' myself before you get there. See if I can help."

I rose an eye brow imagining how this would go down. As if she knew what I was gonna say she spoke up.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything suspicious. I'll make it look like I'm following a lead. I'll locate him and find him. It'll be harmless." She explained.

" Kay fine. Just be careful. I'm trusting you." I sighed heavily.

"You know me. That quality of my work is priceless! Bonus I'm now working for my self. Nothing'll be out of place."

"Isn't someone cocky today?" I laughed at her.

"I'm answering to myself!" She exclaimed. "Of course I'm cocky!"

"Well now I'm off to book a flight to New York."

"Alright babe. I'll see you in a a couple days. Be carful?"

She smiled.

"Of course."
