Jade POV

"So Luke?" I smirked at Rachel as she tried to hid her blush.
"Um.. What about him?"
"You like him... he likes you." I shrugged. "What's your plan?"
She looked out the window. "I dunno. As long as I have wings we can't be together."
She was serious about this. I understand where she's coming from but what's life without a little risk now and then huh? I smriked trying to lightening the mood.
"Who said that?"
"The Arches!" She exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes.
"If you hadn't gotten the message already: THEY SUCK AND NOBODY YOU LOVE FOLLOWS THEIR RULES!!" I yelled at her.
"There's no need to yell ma'am." She sassed.
"There's every need when you're being stupid." I grumbled.
"Well you know what? I'd rather not lose my wings! I'm afraid! Isn't it obvious? They have more power then you can possibly imagine. I don't know what Adam will do if he finds out. My brother and my best friend were cast out of heaven so i'm sure my punishment isn't going to be very minor." She ranted.
"You don't need to be scared Rach. Calum would crawl his way out of Hell for you. He's not going to let Adam lay a finger on you. Neither am I." I pressed. I needed her to know this. I hated to see my best friend upset and worried like this.
She looked down and fiddled with her hands.
"I know you guys would. Just... never mind."
I looked at her in sympathy and wraped my arms around her.
"Don't stress." I prodded gently.
"I won't." She hugged back. "I worry to much."
I laughed in agreement.
"Yeah you do."
"I don't know why." She laughed.
"Girl, me neither." I teased.
The door then opened and Calum stepped inside.
"You're back." I smiled.
He smiled at the sight of us. "That I am. I see you two and having fun." He laughed gently.
"We were just talking." I giggled. "About a certain someone."
Rachel make a noise of agony and dropped her head into her hands attempting to hid her blush. I laughed and Calum raised an eyebrow at us.
"Luke." I explained.
His face brightened.
"Oh? Why you blushing Rach." He teased.
"W-what are you talking about?" She stuttered making our smiled grow. "I'm not blushing."
We laughed loudly. "Get to bed before you hurt yourself, loser."
She nodded silnetly and got up. Calum walked over and kissede her cheek goodnight.
