Chapted Ten- Breaking News

By the time she woke up in the morning she had at least a dozen missed phone calls and texts and it wasn't even 6:30 yet.

She saw at least a dozen from her mother and a good 6 from her father . She groaned and scrolled through the texts . Family members, friends all asking if she was pregnant with Mr. Comic Book's baby.

She opened her buzzfeed and saw at least 20 articles on her and Ben . She face palmed and opened the most viewed on.

Ben Solo, the owner ( third generation) and CEO of Skywalker-Solo Comics was announced that he was expecting with his assistant Reyhanne Kenobi .

Solo, 33, has been a widow for the past 4 years , his late wife Anna passing away after the two had tried for years to get pregnant, recently hired Reyhanne Kenobi , 23, as his office assistant. Kenobi does all the work no one wishes to do , faxing papers, coffee runs and phone calls.

Yesterday at the lunch hour of the Skywalker-Solo comics there was happy screaming and yelling from Solo's office .

He then proceeded to open the door of his office and scream "I'm going to have a baby" and "I'm going to be a daddy" with the door wide open and Kenobi smiling inside his office .

She closed her phone and shook her head ... Okay so maybe one story or two stories ... Nothing to much .

As she was sipping her tea she watched the news . "What's the Buzz Rachel?" The anchor asked.

"Well in shocking turn of events Ben Solo the owner and CEO of Skywalker-Solo comics is having a baby ... And with his much younger assistant ... Reyhannnne Kenobi"

"That's not how you say my name !" Rey yelled at her television.

"Most news outlets have only quotes but we have a whole video of Ben Solo dancing around his office"

Then a video of Ben dancing and screaming that he was going to be a father and Rey standing in his office doorway with a smile on her face .

She cursed ... How the hell did anyone find out?

She shook it off and quickly got dressed for work , her bag on her shoulder a her sunglasses pulled over her face. She didn't want anyone to see her , and that's why she had left early.

She walked into the office to see only Gwen their typing . "Is a congratulations in order?" Gwen asked as Rey walked in.

"If I could drink I would" she replied taking a sip of her tea.

"Well ... All I know is that there was a gentleman from Hamerson Comics here trying to get one of our storyboard artist to come over ... I believe a Jeffery Adams was his name ... He would sell the story... No one else would ... They all trust and fear Ben too much" she told Rey .

"Jeffery Adams ... Thanks Gwen" she said and walked to her desk. She put her phone to her ear and listened to her messages ... Apparently Ben's publicist slash manger slash handler was coming over to talk to him today . And that the new HammerMan movie was coming out and he was requested at the Hollywood Premiere.

She walked into his office to see him there at his desk , his hair a mess and his glasses at his nose . "You heard?" She asked .

"I was in the shower when my phone began to ring nonstop ... After the seventh ring I had to answer ... This was not how my mother waned to find out" he groaned running his hand in his hair.

"I didn't tell anyone ... For the past hour and a half my mother has been trying to call me ... I wouldn't be surprised if my father is at the shooting range " she sighed handing him the messages .

She walked to the break room to get his coffee in his Darth Vader mug. "Hey ... I heard ... And saw ... And read" BB said popping besides her.

"You didn't tell them ... Did you?"

"Rey I would never ! Ben gave me a job when No one else would ... I saw Jeffery Adams from Hamerson here yesterday... That might be the story leaker" he told her and rubbed her shoulder .

"You know BB ... I'm worried ... You should have seen Ben this morning , his hair a mess and horrible bags under his eyes ... He looked like a combination of a hang over and lack of sleep" Rey told him as she mixed the sugar into his coffee.

"Do you wanna go get lunch today ? You , Me , Finn and Poe ... We can go to the little diner , the one with all the comfort food" BB said .

"You know just what to say!"she hugged him and then walked back to Ben's office , she got a serious of congratulations and good lucks as she passed by the cubicles .

So my brother's girlfriend is pregnant and she's due in three weeks but today she started having contractions ... Tunes out it was just Braxton Hicks ... Oh whale !
