Rey and BB were walking from the elevator, "I'll see you later! I have a big shipment of plastic covers coming in" he said and walked off.
Rey smiled and then walked to her desk , a picture of her and her parents caught her eye . Boy if they could see her .... Her father would kill her and her mother would pray .
She checked her watch , time for his cup of coffee. She grabbed the mug and walked to the break room to fill it.
When she opened the door to his office she saw Ben and some lady . "Oh ... Mr. Solo I'm sorry I didn't -"
"It's fine Rey ... Rey this is Jessika Pava ... She's my handler slash manger slash publicist" Ben said .
"Rey nice to meet you" Jessika said standing up and shaking her hand .
"Nice to meet you too" she said and then put the mug on Ben's desk
"It's actually a good thing that you're here Rey ... Jessika wanted to speak to both of us" Ben said and motioned to the chair from across his desk.
She sat down and waited for Jessika to start. "There's too much damage to do any backtracking" Jessika began "we can't say that she's not pregnant because in a couple months it'll show ... Not to mention they'll be photos of you out with friends without a drink in your hand"
"What does that mean exactly?" Rey asked.
"I can't allow his career and image to get ruined ... There's kids who look up to him" she explained .
"So you're saying ?" Rey asked .
"Marriage " Jessika started .
Ben began to couch on his coffee and Rey's eyes went wide. "No ... No ... No !" Rey shouted .
"I'm not say by that you two get married ... Too many legal things ... I'm saying is that you wear an engagement ring and if anyone asks say you're planning on getting married ... Say before the baby ... Then after the baby comes say things didn't work and you break it off" Jessika said .
Rey looked at Ben and she could see the fear in his eyes . "What does me being his fiancée mean?" She asked .
"You go with him to public places ... Like the new Hammer Man movie premiere in Los Angeles .. You go with him to public things , like the opening of the Darth Vader museum" Jessika explained .
"And all I have to do is wear an engagement ring?" Rey asked .
"Well... Glam squad as well ... But pretty much ... Maybe the occasional kiss on the cheek , hugs , hold hands when walking , his hand on the small of your back when walking past paparazzi" she listed to them.
"Could you give us a minute Jessika ?" Rey asked and she nodded and walked out of his office . "So ..."
"I understand if this is all really strange and all ... I understand why you would want -" Ben began .
"You have an image to keep up ... I want to start those art programs ... And you want a baby and I'm already pregnant... What's one fake engagement ring gonna do ? So the occasional kiss on the cheek and posing for pictures ... She's not asking us to release a sex tape ... So if you buy the ring I'll wear it and go with you places as your fiancé and your assistant" Rey told him.
"You sure ? I mean this is a lot that I'm asking -"
"I'm sure ..." Rey told him "and don't worry about it ... Soon enough this baby will come and we'll never ever have to have this conversation again"
"Rey ... Do you know what size ring you are ?" He asked .
"7" she said and sighed . "My family is so gonna kill me" she ran a hand over her face , causing her lipstick to smudge on her hand a tad .
