She started working at her favorite comic book company , as an assistant, fetching coffee and copying papers ...

She nervously sat on the counter of her bathroom. She had taken 2 tests . One negative and one positive . This was the last one .... If she wasn't that meant that she would be forced on those hormones then injected with her boss's sperm ... again.
Her phone timer rang and she turned the test over . "Undetermined" she read aloud then threw her test at the bin next to her toilet . "Fuck !" She groaned .
She should call Mr. - Ben and tell him what's going on ... Maybe she is pregnant maybe she isn't ... He can call his fertility doctor or something.
She decided to text him instead , that way he couldn't sense the fear and panic in her voice .
R: Hey... I took a test and it was negative then I took another and it was positive ... And a third it's undetermined...
B: oh ... Um... I'll call Maz and see if she has an opening... What times work for you?
R: oh , anytime is fine ...
B: okay ... I'll call her and let you know .
R: okay
An hour later he texted her saying that Maz could do a test during her lunch break tomorrow but he had to go to a meeting .

"Okay Miss Kenobi , as that's being tested let's talk " Maz said .
"Okay" Rey nodded .
"So, does your family have any history of miscarriages or birth defects?"
"No," she said .
"Have you ever been pregnant before?" Maz asked .
Rey gulped . "When I was 15... My parents made me ... terminate... The fetus ... I got checked out three years later when I was really serious about marriage with a guy and they said it's all okay"
"Well... It's been seven years so it gave enough time to heal ... So it shouldn't cause any problems..." She then checked the test. "Congratulations Miss Kenobi ... You're pregnant"
Rey gasped and quickly shot her hands to her flat stomach , this was real, this was now ... This was theirs .
"Like 100 percent sure?" She asked.
"100 percent ... I can schedule your first ultrasound from a week from today ... And I'll prescribe some prenatal vitamins " Maz was writing something on a piece of paper .

She had a grin on her face as she took the elevator back to the office . It was so real... Oh god ... Her parents ... How was she suppose to tell her dad and mom?
She shook her head deciding that she didn't need to tell them ... Okay maybe she did but she wouldn't for a while .
She saw an empty office with the exception of Gwen at her desk typing away. "You look happy"
"Oh ... Just found 20 bucks on the floor" Rey lied .
"Oh , well that good" Gwen went back to her large Mac computer and was typing away.
She saw the cubicles that had superhero posters on them and goofy stuff all over .
She looked into the small door of his office and saw her was alone , reading something online .
She opened the door and closed it behind her . "So ?" He asked turning his head to her .
"I'm pregnant" she replied . She saw a giant goofy grin on his face .
He ran from his chair and looked at her , clasping his hands on her arms . "You're p-pregnant?" He asked full of hope.
"I'm pregnant! Maz even saID SO!" She screamed as he picked her up and spun her around .
"You're pregnant!" He smiled "you're pregnant! Finally ! Oh thank god !" He then put her down and hugged her tight. His face buried into her neck. "I can't thank you enough" he whispered into her ear as he continued to hug her .
She could feel his hot breath on her neck and she put her arms around his waist to hug him. Rey smiled to herself as she patted his back.
"I can't " he began to choke up and pulled his face from her neck. "I can't believe it... Oh my god!" He looked at her .
His dark eyes now staring into her hazel ones. "You're pregnant!" He laughed "you did it!" He then pulled her to another hug.
"It wasn't a single person job" she replied . "You had to supply part of it"
Ben hugged her tight again and then kissed her cheek "thank you so much !" He then opened his office door and people were flooding in from the elevator and the end of their lunch breaks .
"I'm gonna have a baby!" He yelled as he ran down the aisle of the offices . "IM GONNA BE A DADDY !" He jumped up and down , hugging some of his employees and dancing with others .
Rey giggled to herself and then went to her desk and continued to watch his silly little announcement .
Well there goes the gossip in the office , everyone saw her in his office ... She was pregnant and it was his and the whole office knew !
