Chapter Five - Make A Millon

Poe had tagged along with BB and they were all eating dinner . It was quiet , the guys where talking about crap, Finn and Poe flirting .

"So Rey ... What's new with you?" Finn asked taking a sip of his wine .

"My boss asked me to have a baby with him and offered me a million dollars if I do so" she said blankly and then grabbed her knife to cut her chicken .

"What ?!" The three said together.

"I came into his office , bringing him a coffee and he said 'would you like to have a baby with me?' And I spilled his coffee ... Apparently he wants to be a father but has no wife or anyone ..."

"Doesn't surprise me ... Anna couldn't have children" BB took a bite of his pasta .

"Who's Anna ?" Poe asked.

"Anna O'Brien Solo... Ben's high school lover... Got married at 19 and have been trying for years to get pregnant... When he was 25 she finally did "

"Oh that's good ... Does she have full custody or something?" Asked Finn.

"No" BB sighed "she died ... There was a fire and the gas had gotten to her ... She didn't make it ... It was the day before Ben's big meeting ... He missed it and it cost the company almost 6 million dollars , but no one dared say anything" BB answered.

"Anna ... Anna O'Brien" then Poe pulled out his cellphone and googled the woman .

She had long black hair with curls , and a pink lipstick . She had hazel eyes just like Rey's ... She had the same bone structure expect not as thin. And had a similar nose.

"She kinda looks like Rey" Finn said holding his phone to BB .

"That's her!" He confirmed.
"You know ... He wrote this comic called Dad Man ... About a man who's superpowers were being a good dad... He looked like Ben too" BB added.

"Wait ... He offered you one million dollars ?" Poe asked.

"Not just that ... My own comic and a higher position" she sighed "he said that I would have to sign over all my parental rights"

"It's a shame though ... He really loves kids ... He would smoke a great father" BB said .

The guys all went back to talking a bout useless things. She didn't even pay attention, she was to busying thinking that she looked like his late wife ... He wanted to be a father ... And she would get one million dollars and her own comic series .

But she would never get to see that child as its mother ... She would push it out then give it up to Ben .

"Rey ?" Finn asked as he walked her to her car . "You okay ? You haven't spoke since BB talked about Ben being a dad ... What's wrong?"

"Your a lawyer right?" She asked .

"Have been ... What's up why?"

"I think ... I think I'm gonna do it-"

"What the hell Rey !" Finn said surprised . "You're gonna have a baby with your boss ?"

"He wants one ... He needs one ... He'd make a good father ..." She replied "I want you to be my lawyer ... Get me some type of open adoption of sorts ... I want to be able to see the child ... Since it's mine" she answered .

"Rey... You're gonna do this?" Finn asked .

"I'm gonna do it" she answered proudly . "I'm going to get knocked up for a million dollars" she said then kissed his cheeks and went in her car .

Rey walked into work with confidence, she was going to do this ... She couldn't wait to see his face .

She took her messages then went into his office to open his drapes but saw he was already there .

"Rey" he closed his glasses . "I didn't see you there "

"You're early" she noticed .

"Yeah ... I left the office early yesterday ... What's up?" He asked .

"I'm going to do it"

"Do what?" He asked her .

"I'm going to have a baby with you" she replied.

"What ?!" He said happily and then stood up and walked over to her. "You're gonna have my child ? You're gonna do it ?! Oh thank you Rey !" He hugged her tightly. "Thank you so much Rey!" He squeezed her tightly.

"But ... I have a lawyer ... And we're going to work out conditions... I want an open adoption ... I want certain things -"

"Like ?" He asked .

"You have to pay for everything ! Birthing classes , maternity clothes , vitamins, Doctor trips ... I'm not doing that "

"Alright" he said happily.

"We'll discuss this when my lawyer is here ... Until then ... I should really go copy this" she grabbed the notes off his desk and leaves .
