ANOTHER UPDATE FOR YOU GUYS. I KNOW THAT THESE CHAPTERS HAVE BEEN COMING ALONG FAST, BUT SINCE MIDTERMS ARE GOING ON THEY MIGHT SLOW DOWN A BIT. BUT I AM GOING TO TRY MY BEST TO UPDATE. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF THIS CHAPTER ^_^
The following week I found a weird surprise for me at my locker. After getting to school, late as usual thanks to the family of the year, I went to my locker really quickly to drop some things off. However, when I got there I could not help but notice a piece of white paper sticking through the the door. I tried to pull it but it was shoved in there really good. I had to open my locker first to realize what it was. A note. I dropped everything and pulled it out the door and opened it. It was folded at least three times. On the front it said “I.” The then opened it and the next fold said “like.” I then opened it again and it said “you.” By the time I opened the last fold, it said “love your secret admirer.”
I could not stop grinning from ear to ear. I never received anything cute and gushy like this before. I felt like I was in one of those cliche teen movies from the 80. To my dismay though, I had no idea who could of left it. What if it was a stranger? What if it was someone I knew? Someone I knew!
My mind automatically popped one individual in particular up in my head. Could Jacob have possibly left the letter in my locker? Just when I was thinking about the situation more, someone’s presence startled me and took me out of my train of thought.
“Morning Aggy.” said Jacob leaning against the locker.
I jumped and tried to fold the note up without him noticing it. If he did write it, I wasn’t ready to talk about it. IF he did not write it, he would have a field day with jokes about the letter. I just knew he would get a kick out of it.
“What’s that you got there?” he asked.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
“Oh nothing just some notes for a quiz today.”
“You’re such a nerd.” he said teasingly.
“No I am definitely not. I just like doing good in school. Is that okay with you?” I asked him.
He put his hands up in defense as if surrendering.
“Whatever you say aggy. Don’t come at my throat.”
I closed my locker and tried to put my things on the ground. I laid my back against my locker while Jacob leaned next to me. He looked cute for a monday morning.
“So what are you doing in my neck of the woods?” I asked him curiously.
I was hoping he would maybe give me hints about the note so I could see if it was him or not who sent it to me.
“My dad had to go to work early this morning and he gives me a ride to school, so it was either rise and shine or walk.” He said grimly.
