CHAPTER 15
The next day at school wasn’t any better. My mind was completely fucked up. I really wasn’t paying attention in school, and I don’t even know if it was because of Darren or Jacob that I was so distracted. After third period I stopped at my locker to get a book. Since we only had five minutes in passing time between classes I usually make sure I have everything to avoid being late. Of all damn days of course I forgot my book. While I bent over looking for it I felt a very large palm stretch itself over the area of my lower back.
“You know you shouldn’t be in this position.” said a familiar voice.
“Ohh yeah? Why not?” I asked.
I stood up straight to look at Jacob’s amused face. His eyes were dancing with happiness and entertainment. He looked pretty good too. Over these past couple of weeks his hair has grown a little longer, giving him a short shaggy look. He had his nice straight blue jeans with a black v-neck on that fit him tightly. What killed me was the snapback that he was wearing. Oh god! He looked so good. He must of noticed me staring at him.
“You shouldn’t stare at people. It’s rude.” he said smiling at me.
.
I tried to hide the blush that was trying to creep onto my face.
“Shut up.”
I leaned up against my locker while Jacob stood in front of me. You could feel the electricity passing through both of our bodies as we breathed in each other’s scent. He was the hunter, and I was his prey. Jacob briefly took off his hat and combed his fingers through his tousled hair. Oh god, I could not feel my legs and swore they were going to give out. He put his hat back on and licked his lips before speaking.
“So what was that about yesterday?” he started off casually.
“What do you mean?” I asked dumbly.
Jacob made a “you know what I’m talking about face.” I sighed and played with my necklace. Now was not the time to talk about this! Class was about to start.
“Jacob, do we really have to talk about this now?” I asked irritated.
“Yes we do. Do you want me?” he said bluntly.
“Wh-what?” I stuttered.
