Sky decided she was going to get Mcdonalds, for what ever reason. Not that it was really my decision, because I wasn't getting anything, but it was so greasy..and gross..It made me feel three times heavier just looking at it.

So I didn't. I looked at Sky. I noticed she'd changed a lot since I'd seen her last. I mean, we texted all the time before I went to the beach, but even at school I didn't really see her. If I saw her at all, I didn't really. I hadn't analyzed her in a long time. Her hair was longer, obviously, and her skin was darker. But it wasn't only topical, there was something else... Her eyes had more depth. It was like the little ballerina had done some serious tumbling..

and I wasn't there to catch her.

"How are you enjoying your trash on a bun?" I joked.

"How are you enjoying your trash on legs?"

I know it was just one of those things.

Just one of those times.

She didn't mean it. It just slipped out. It happens to everyone.

But that doesn't make it hurt any less. I think she saw that.

"Andrew, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like-" But I just stood up and walked out. It might have been just a tad melodramatic and vaguely resembling my sister having a meltdown, but after all,

I have always been told I'm very feminine.
