Sentenced To Eternity

Chapter 8

Alise's Point of View

After I had attacked Sophie they had transported me here. It was a small room with no furnishings, windows, or doors. For about a half an hour I waited. Then suddenly Evelyn appeared.

"That went well. The Judge decided to let you back in. Sophie still has a few questions to answer from the Judges. You'll be in restraints though." Evelyn looked more annoyed at me then usual.

Sophie was still portraying my completely false murder. Suddenly she stopped speaking and stared off into space. Her mouth quivered and she mumbled something. Then as if no one was there she looked down and took off her shoe then started rubbing her foot. "Ms. Houne?" The Judge finally said. The whole Court looked confused.

"Oh," she looked confused, and honestly disoriented. I felt bad for her. Maybe I shouldn't of attacked her.

She looked around the room and after a moment suddenly her face changed and she looked the same as before. She continued talking.

Now I wasn't so sure that she was lying. I wasn't really sure what to think. The way she looked when she stopped talking was as if. . . I'm not sure. She didn't even seem aware that we were in the same room as her.

"Dismissed" The Judge said, I decided that he looked like a Henry, so I began referring to him as Henry the Supreme in my head. He was clearly annoyed with my thoughts and trial and looked tired.

I looked over at Sophie as she and her Messenger walked her out. The Messenger was for some reason explaining to Sophie what had happened. Just like before it was as if she wasn't even there for what had happened, her face looked so surprised at what she did.

Evelyn appeared.

"Well your going to Hell." Was she kidding? The only witness belongs in a Mental Heath Ward!

"Did you see her? I'm confused why you even think that? They have NO case!!" I practically screamed.

"Don't be silly. There is no such things as a Mental Heath Ward in Heaven. There isn't a need. Anything that changed you that was part of you physically goes away in heaven. All you remember is what lesson you learned. For example if a mentally ill man killed a women, he wouldn't go to hell because he did so when he was mentally ill. The reason people have such problems is because once they get to heaven they will have learned tolerance and away of seeing how one must not persecute another without knowing they're state of mind and differences."

"Then what was it that she pulled today?"

"Well its obviously because of her memory. Your lucky you can remember everything about yourself." Evelyn responded lightly, almost absentmindedly.

"Am I allowed to curse at an angel in Heaven?" I thought rolling my eyes.

"Your already going to Hell so whats the difference".
