Tim and Luke rode down the dirt roads of Detroit with their small make-shift troop. They had only taken 15 out of the 800 soldiers in the castle. The king probably wouldn't notice.

The troop had stopped at every building to look for a terrorist base. So far there were no signs. If only Detroit wasn't so big.

"Stop the truck!" Luke yelled as they neared a roughly large cement building hidden behind some trees. Luke felt different about this place than the others, it had to be the one.

The troop got out of the truck and grabbed their weapons. They slowly crept over to the trees and looked around. There was moss and vines all over the cement walls and the windows were boarded up.

"There isn't anyone here! There is no trace of anything at all! Anyway, this can't even be a base, it's too small!" Yelled Bill, a fellow soldier.

"Shut the hell up, Bill! Lily is somewhere around here and I thought that this might be the base!" Luke shouted as he pinned Bill to the wall and grabbed his neck.

"Hey guys! I found a window with a light on!" Called a soldier. "Oh my God, Lily's in there and a guy has a knife to her neck!"

Luke let go of Bill and Bill fell to the ground gasping for breath. "Good work, Simpson- wait, WHAT?" Luke ran to the window and saw Lily with her eyes closed and blood dripping down her neck. Luke pulled out his service pistol hand gun and aimed at the man with the knife. He gulped as he pulled the trigger.

Glass shattered everywhere. The man with the knife fell to the ground and Lily with him. Luke hopped into the window and fell on the floor, the rest of the troop followed. He ran over to Lily and held her in his arms. "Luke," she croaked. Lily was losing blood quickly, she was on the verge of death.

On the other side of the room, Tim walked up to a guy with a rat-like face. The guy was about to run out the door when Tim grabbed his shoulder, "Where are the other terrorists?"

The guy stuttered, "Uh, they areas a different-uh-base."

Tim put his pistol to the guy's head, "Tell me where they are!"

"AT THE CASTLE! At the castle to kill the king! But you're too late, they left four hours ago!" The guy cried.

"Shit," Tim said, "Guys! The terrorists are at the castle! Let's move!" Tim whispered to the guy, "Thanks for the info, but you still have to pay," and he shot him.

Luke ripped off a piece of his shirt and wrapped it around Lily's neck tightly to stop the blood flow. "Luke, I love you," Lily croaked.

"I love you, too," Luke said as they looked into each other's eyes. A tear rolled down Luke's cheek.

"Dude, let's go!" Shouted Bill.

"Shut up, Bill!" Luke picked up Lily and carried her out to the truck. Her eyes flickered and then they shut. Luke's heart quickened as he took Lily's pulse, her heart was still going. Luke sighed in relief.

"Tim! What are you doing?" Simpson shouted from the truck.

"One minute! I have to blow this place up!" Tim yelled back.

"Why does Tim love to blow things up so much?" Bill said.

"I have do clue," Simpson replied, shaking his head.

Tim pulled out the grenade he snuck out of the weapons safe back at the castle. He pulled the clip and it began to go off. Tim ran away from the base. Suddenly, Tim tripped over a large rock onto the pavement. There was a sharp pain in his kneecap, but he still tried to get up, even though he couldn't. He then began to crawl on all fours, but it was no use, he was to slow. The grenade exploded and took Tim with it.

The whole troop sat in shock, Tim was dead. But unfortunately mourning wasn't going to do anything for them at this moment, they had to get back to the castle.
