I woke up in my bed the next morning. I just had one question, how did I get in my bed? I opened my eyes and saw Luke laying down next to me, his head in his hand. "L-Luke! What are you doing in here?"
"I found you sleeping on the swing last night and brought you in here. I slept in here, too. I hope it's alright, I got a bit tired," he explained.
"Ok?"
"Lily, are you alright?"
"Uh-huh."
"Alright then. Is that prince treating you well? I let him in last night so you could see how much of a royal pain he is."
"Um, yeah. Luke, are you alright? You've been acting differently since Dominic left."
"I'm fine. I better get dressed. See you later," he kissed my cheek, took his clothes, and went to the bathroom.
Luke has been acting differently, and it scares me. He isn't the same person he was before, the person I loved. It almost seems like he is acting jealous or protective. He wants to move really fast with our relationship, faster than I want to go.
I took a shower and changed into a pencil skirt and blouse. I braided my hair and put on some lipstick.
I walked out into the hall. I didn't know where Lady Jubilee's room was, but I needed to find it. I ran down the hallway looking for her room when suddenly I hit someone and fell to the ground. "Ow!"
"Sorry!" It was Bradley.
I sat up and opened my eyes, "You're fine, it's my fault for not paying attention."
"I wasn't either," he stood up and stuck a hand out. I grabbed it and he pulled me up.
I slipped and fell again. We both laughed, "Looks like they polished the floors," I chuckled.
"Appears to be true," this time he stuck out two hands and pulled my up.
I slipped forward and into his arms. We stared into each others eyes. His were crystal clear ice blue and they sent chills down my spine. "Uh, sorry. These darn shoes are really slippery," I said, red faced. "Bye!"
I ran off down the hall, feeling his eyes burning a hole in the back of my head.
I found Lady Jubilee's room and rapped on the door. It slowly opened and in front of me stood Lady Jubilee in a bathrobe and curlers. "Come in," she sighed.
I walked in to a suite similar to mine, except smaller. We sat down on the sofa and she gave me a questioning look. "Okay," I said, "so I have to give you a possible situation, and you have to give me the best answer," I said.
"Go for it."
"So what if this guy saved your life and you really liked him, but then this other guy came into your life and he's really cute and charming. Then the first guy seems to have changed and you get to know the second guy better and you like him, but you don't want to betray the first guy because you used to love him and still want to love him?"
"Wow. That is difficult, just give me a moment to figure out your situation-"
"It isn't mine!"
"Sure." A few minutes later she gave me her answer. "Go for who ever feels right to you. I know Luke did feel right once upon a time, maybe you can get that back. But if Bradley feels right at the moment, maybe he is the better option."
"How did you know who the guys were?"
"I know everything. Here is your only problem, you have known Bradley for a day and you love him as equally as you loved Luke in two months. What does that tell you?"
"I have no clue! But thanks for the opinion," I left the room and walked back down the hall, what was I going to do?
Who should Lily choose, Luke or Bradley?
