"I can't believe Tim's gone," Simpson mumbled as the troop rushed back to the castle.

"It's his fault that he tried to blow up the place, I mean who does that?" Said Bill.

Simpson frowned, "He blew it up so the terrorists would have nowhere to meet, no place to go back to!"

"That isn't worth risking his life for!"

"What do you expect, Bill? That's our job! What did you expect when you signed up for it?"

"Both of you stop fighting!" Yelled Luke.

The fighting stopped.

The rest of the ride was quiet. Nobody had anything to say. They were all in shock and were worried about the king. What would happen if he was killed? Would Dominic take over the throne even if he is underage?

The truck pulled into the castle and the soldiers rushed into the castle. Luke carried Lily to the infirmary. He set her down on a cot in the small, stuffy room. "What happened to her?" Asked the tiny, red-headed nurse. "Oh my God. You rescued Lily against the King's wishes!"

"Yeah kind of," Luke rubbed the back of his neck with his hand. "Can you still help her?"

The nurse looked hard at Luke and then sighed, "Fine, but if I get fired-"

"You won't!"

"I better not," the nurse began treating Lily.

Simpson, Bill, and the rest of the troop joined the other soldiers in the castle. Bill saw a group of terrorists try to flee when he began shooting at all of them.

The terrorists were everywhere, there had to be a few hundred. They were killing the innocent staff of the castle. Simpson noticed a dead maid's body on the floor, blood seeping out of her head. He winced and kept walking.

The troop slowly turned around a corner, not wanting to be seen. A group of terrorists were trying to break into the King's room. "HEY!" Bill yelled as he began shooting them and the rest of the troop followed.

Terrorists dropped dead to the ground. The king's door broke open and Simpson ran in after the terrorists. He tracked blood onto the freshly cleaned carpet and shoved the King's bedroom door open.

The king was in his bed with a terrified look on his face. A small girl held a gun to his head, "If you take a step closer," she said, "I will shoot the both of you!"

"Stay where you are-" the king whimpered.

"She's going to kill you anyway!"

"Stay there!" The king yelled at Simpson.

Simpson shot the girl in her chest. She toppled to the ground. Simpson ran to the king and grabbed his arm, "C'mon, Your Highness!"

The king pushed himself up and fell as a bullet shot him in the head. Simpson quickly turned around and saw the girl with her gun in her hand. She weakly lifted her gun up and shot Simpson in the leg.

He fell and grabbed his leg, "Son of a-"

The girl tried to run away but collapsed to her death.

"Soldier-" the king croaked.

Simpson pushed himself up onto the bed. "What is it, Your Highness?"

"I'm dying. Dominic will be king. He may be too young, but he will be king. I want you to tell him that."

"Yes, Your Highness."

The king struggled for air and stopped breathing all together. Simpson put down his cap and limped out into the hall.

"Simpson!" Bill cried as he ran to help his friend.

"Bill, the king is dead. He was shot! Killed by a young girl! She shot me in my leg!" Simpson's leg was gushing blood.

"Dude, we have to get you to the infirmary. The rest of you look after the king's body!" Bill yelled.

Bill helped Simpson get to the infirmary. Through the large, blood smeared, and broken windows they could see terrorists fleeing. They had gotten what they wanted.

They walked into the infirmary and saw Luke sitting next to Lily's bed. Simpson limped over to the next bed over and sat down.

"What happened?" Asked Luke as he stood up. His eyes were red and bloodshot.

Bill put down his hat, "The king is dead. He was shot by a young girl. Simpson shot her and she shot him back."

"Was Lily's sister? Did she have dark hair?"

"Yes," said Simpson.

"Please tell me she didn't escape," Luke groaned.

"No, she actually died," Simpson said.

"Good."
