it's now been a full month.

jeongguk is back to his busy schedule and never being at home until midnight. everyday there would be piles of mail at his doorstep and packages stacked to the side, due to the fact that he was never at home.

he wore a wide, bunny teethed smile when he saw the little notes taehyung placed on top of the cardboard boxes. jeongguk enjoyed keeping them in a place where no one but him could find it.

however, it was not long until jeongguk became a "hot mess." he was completely unsure of whether he liked taehyung in that way or he was just out of it. whatever he was afraid of tore him into two.

was he gay? he didn't know until he saw taehyung's beautifully tanned skin and flawless smile at his doorstep; it was as if he was the only person he wanted to see every. single. day.

why am i so attached? they both asked themselves as they leaned against their bedroom walls. it was as if they couldn't function if they didn't say 'hello' and asked about each other's lives.

why am i moving so slowly? jeongguk asked himself, afraid of the thought of losing taehyung.

jeongguk wouldn't say that he was homophobic, he was just not used to the fact that he could possibly like the same gender. not only that but what would taehyung think? more importantly, what would his parents think?

it was a known fact that not many people in south korea have a liking towards LGBT citizens. everyone looked down upon you and made you think you were a disgrace for loving the same gender, loving both genders, et cetera.

all of this knotted up in his head made him want to test his sexuality. therefore, he met with a girl and everything beyond that is self-explanatory.

did he feel anything at the time?

no.

jeongguk was a mess at this point. he woke up to a girl lying in his bed. he wanted to sob into his pillow, he couldn't accept the fact that he's homosexual.

just give it time, just give it time, just give it time, he repeated bitterly.

then an hour later, jeongguk managed to fall back asleep. he gave the situation time, or procrastination more like. in the same hour jeongguk was deep into slumber, the familiar knocking and 'hello' was at jeongguk's door.

kim taehyung, the delivery boy that he saw almost everyday.

the girl jeongguk slept with mumbled curses at the sudden arrival. she walked down the stairs and covered herself in jeongguk's white, oversized t-shirt.

taehyung looked down at his watch, "jeongguk ah, hurry up, you're never this la—" he's interrupted by the opening of jeongguk's door, "welcomed" by a shorter girl. "oh, um," taehyung scratched the back of his neck. "here's jeongguk's—"

taehyung is interrupted again by jeongguk's dialogue in the background. "miju? i think that's my mail—" taehyung is flustered, as well as jeongguk when he suddenly stood behind his one night stand.

they look into each other's eyes, a sad gaze from the red haired delivery boy. he gulps, "sorry." he shoved the mail towards the girl and scurried back to his truck. quickly, taehyung drove away.

miju, jeongguk's one night stand, is stunned. "d-do you know him?"

jeongguk stayed quiet. the celebrity ignored the question as he took the package and letters.

everything runs through his head, things he'd say if taehyung didn't run off. jeongguk wanted to follow taehyung's car, despite the fact he was shirtless. he wanted to apologize and he didn't know why.

maybe he felt selfish and thoughtless enough to hurt someone like taehyung.

maybe jeongguk was the one to lose taehyung, not his best friend.

but it's fine, right? it hasn't been two months.

just give it some time, jeongguk repeated.
