Rixton
Rixton stares at the box and what's inside it. He's left speechless, which doesn't happen to, well ever.
James comes to stand next to him. "Oh! Is that..." He doesn't finish his sentence.
"What is it?" Jackson asks standing up. He walks over to them and looks into the box. "Oh."
Mason walks over to the stack of boxes, followed by Alice. When he sees what's inside he lets out a long whistle. Alice peeks in and her eyes grow wide.
"Gold." Rixton says, although everyone knows. "Gold bars."
"That's why she didn't tell us what we were stealing. We'd never agree to do it." Mason says shaking his head.
"Why would she risk having us steal it?" James asks.
"Because, we're expendable. If we got caught or killed there would be no way to trace us back to her. She'd just find some new guys to do her dirty work." Rixton says, his voice dry and empty.
"Why don't we just take it and run. Get off at the next stop and go live a life of luxury and ease at the beach." Jackson asks. He reaches out to touch a gold bar, but James smacks his hand away.
"She'd send her men after us. They would hunt us down and when they find us, they'll kill us." Rixton says. "The only thing we can do is bring her the gold."
"And we won't even get paid for it." Jackson says wistfully.
The five of them stand in silence for a few moments, staring at the gold.

Gold had become even more valuable and rare over the last ten plus years. The government, when it was still intact, had given most of its gold to other countries, trying to pay off debts. One could go their whole life without seeing an ounce of it.

"We're screwed." Rixton says.
"Well, that's encouraging." Alice says sarcastically.
Rixton shoots her a glare. "I wasn't finished. We're screwed, unless we do what we came to do. And that is to bring her the gold."
"Who's the 'her' you keep talking about?" Alice asks.
"Irene. The crime boss of New York." James says.
"You said that your job was to steal this gold, bring it to Irene, and she would clear the debt of a family, right?" Alice asks facing James. He nods. "Then that's what we're going to do."
"Who put you in charge?" Rixton asks sharply.
Alice turns to look at him. "Well someone has to decide. While the four were trying to figure out how to keep the gold and not get killed for it, you forgot the reason you were here."
Rixton clenches his fists. He knows she's right, but he doesn't want to give her the satisfaction of admitting it. Instead he spins on his heels and walks away. He doesn't get too far when Alice opens her mouth again.
"There you go again. Storming off when someone stands up to you." Alice says behind him. He spins around and marches right up to her. She flinches ever so slightly.
"What's your problem?" Rixton demands.
"What's yours? Can't stand it when you don't get your way?" Alice shoots back.
"Don't pretend you know me." Rixton says, his temper rising.
Alice opens her mouth to say something, but James steps forward.
