I was woken up because of my ringing phone. Without looking at the caller ID I answered it. "Hallo?"

"Hi sweetie!"

"Mom, why are you calling me when we are in the same house?"

I could hear her laugh a little on the other end. "because darling your dear mother wants coffee in bed and your mother wants to spend some time with her daughter like we always did."

I could not help but smile. I always used to bring her coffee in the bed and we'd sit and chat in her bed for hours talking about all kinds of things. "Okay I'm up. I'll bring you coffee in a little while."

"Thanks sweetie, love you!"

"Love you too mom." With that I hung up the phone and headed downstairs, but what I found made me laugh so hard my stomach started to ace. My dad was only in his underwear, which fortunately for me was boxers, in front of the stove cooking up breakfast while dancing extremely badly to some music. He also wore one of my mom's aprons that said "Kiss the cook, but don't touch the buns!" Well I'll definitely kiss the cook and most definitely NOT touch the buns. I started to crack up again from the scene in front of me. My dad heard me and turned the music down. "Hi lady bug! I thought you're still sleeping?" He waved at me with the spatula in his hand making me smile even more, I'm sure that if it was not for my ears my smile would have gone right around my head.

"Hi daddy, mom called me awake telling me she wants coffee in bed and chat in bed like we used to."

"That woman knows how to get what she wants. She kicked me out of bed to make us all breakfast." He shakes his head turning back to the stove.

"So I guess it is breakfast and coffee in bed for the three of us?" He replied by nodding so I made coffee for the three of us. I took it upstairs into the master bedroom and grabbed a pair of pants for my dad. Mom just started laughing when she probably imagined what I walked into in the kitchen.

"Here dad" I put down the pants on the counter. "put on your pants before you bring breakfast. My eyes are already hurting." He just laughed at me shooing me out of the kitchen.

For the rest of the morning we spend in my parents' bed talking and eating. We used to do this over the weekends, it become sort of a family tradition. I could tell they did all of this for me to cheer me up after yesterday and it is absolutely working. They are the best parents I could ever have asked for. They gave me a great childhood and they have taught me so many life lessons especially that no matter how difficult it gets with your spouse you don't get divorced, you work through all the hardships and problems. They are my role models and I couldn't ask for better ones.

The morning quickly passed and our little morning breakfast has come to an end. I took a bath and wondered what I'm going to do today at home, not wanting to go into town and bump into him. By the time I got out of the bath and started to get dressed and get ready for the day I was determined not to let him dictate what I do, he has been in town for days and I never saw him so chances are bumping into him will be next to nothing, besides if he knows what is good for himself he'll keep away from me even if he sees me.

"Mom, dad! I'm going to the mall! I'll be back in a couple of hours!" I shout down the stairs heading for the door.

"Okay lady bug! Keep safe. Love ya!"

"I love you too bye!" And with that I'm gone.

As I walked around in the mall I decided to treat myself to a foot massage and boy was that a great idea. It was just what I needed to relax and have some 'me' time. After the foot massage it was an appointment at the hairdresser to cut my ends and blow wave my hair. I felt refreshed and relaxed so I started to hit the shops one by one, mostly doing window shopping but here and there I bought something that I really liked. After putting everything in the car I headed back to the mall in search of a place where I can treat myself to a good Sunday ice-cream.

As I was sitting in Milky Lane outside looking down at the cars speeding by my eye caught someone at the counter buying ice-cream. My heart stopped and without thinking I dove behind the brick wall so that I won't be spotted by him. Out of all the times we could have walked in to each other it happened today!? This is so unfair. I tried to get my breathing under control and my racing heart. I took a peak at him. He's wearing his black hair a bit longer than usual and it has been lightly gelled into a messy style just like the way I always liked, my knees always went weak when he wore his hair that way. He had a pair of faded jeans on with a button up purple shirt with the sleeves rolled up. My eyes traveled to the now bigger biceps which he always used to tease me with, what can I say? I'm a sucker for muscles. His back is nice and broad and I could see all his back muscles through the shirt. Just as he was about to turn my way I ducked back behind the brick wall before he could see me. I hadn't realized that my breathing and heart rate picked up again as I checked him out. I think if I stared any longer I would have started to drool. Why does he still have this effect on me? I hate this, still reacting this way towards him when he tore my heart apart.

I stayed behind the wall finishing my Sunday. After I was done I took a peek around the corner again to see if the coast was clear. As soon as I decided it was safe to go I practically ran to the car prying along the way that he won't spot me. But with my luck he spotted me just as I was about to get into the car. I knew it was him without seeing him. I'll never forget that deep silky voice of his. The closer his voice came as he called my name over and over again the more my heart sped up and my fingers started to shake. Just before he could reach me I started the car and reversed out of the parking lot. As I look in my rear view mirror I could see him standing in the spot where my car was, looking after me with longing in those deep brown eyes.

As I drove home I started to calm down, but I knew now that he knows I'm here and from the looks of his reaction when he saw me, he's going to find me weather I want him to or not. My parents was gone when I got home and I was sort of relieved that they weren't here, I don't want to explain that I saw the one person that I never wanted to see again. The one that drove their little girl away.

I walked into the house locking everything after me again. After I've put everything away I decided on a swim to clear my thoughts, so I put on one of my favorite bathing suits which I liked to wear when I'm alone. It almost looks like cloth has been wrapped around my body in a fashionable way. It's mainly purple with pink and blue infused into leather patterns.

I put on the music quite loud in the living room, opening the glass doors that lead to the pool allowing the sound to be heard outside. I jumped into the pool and as the water closed over my head I could feel all the stress being washed away.

Just as I was about to get out of the pool, I heard the music being turned down a bit. When I turned to the glass door my breath hitched in my throat and I froze in place. It seemed like he was also frozen standing there just staring at me with wide eyes. I knew he would eventually show up here but I never thought he would show up so soon.

I swallowed hard, hearing my heart pounding in my ears and finally said his name for the first time in over five years. "Damian? How did you get in!?"
