When Jessa had mentioned that they were adopting a boy from Indonesia I was happy for them. Michelle and I had talked about it but it never took place since the events that took place.

Things haven't been going well between Michelle and I over these past few years. We have slowly been figuring out our issues by going to a Councillor.

When Ben said that he had another announcement to make, I was surprised too. Usually baby announcements are huge no matter what. Even though that announcement was huge as well, it was also different and not just because it's a different way that they are introducing a child to our family.

"Well," Jessa continued after Ben had mentioned something. "I ended up missing one of my periods and then I took a pregnancy test from Jana and -"

This alerted me. "You took it from Jana? Why would Jana have a pregnancy test? Jana why do you have a pregnancy test?" I asked her.

"Hey, Jim-Bob shouldn't we talk about this in private?" Michelle asked me.

I thought about this however I should have thought longer. "No. Jana I want to know why you have pregnancy tests." I instantly knew I shouldn't have continued on.

"Pops I-" Jana started, " Do you think we could talk about this later? I think we should let Jessa continue what she was going to say."

I sighed and nodded. "Sorry Jessa, continue."

"As I was saying, you know what, it's okay." Jessa said "I can tell you later."

"Can we go now?" Erin asked.
"Yes, go ahead. Dinner will be ready soon." Jessa said. The whole family fled like wild animals.

I went over to Michelle and asked her
"Do you think it's about the baby she's pregnant with?
"Well we won't know now will we? You couldn't have waited for her to finish
what she was going to say first?" Michelle said clearly upset with me.
