When Jana left, I was appalled.
"Hey, Pops, I think you were a little bit too hard on Jana." I said. This got everyone's attention. I tend to be a quieter person. I looked up to Jana so much!
"Jennifer, you do understand that Jana has disowned this family. Meeting a guy who we don't even know, not courting and becoming pregnant before anything has happened." My dad said
"But Pops, why can't you forgive her?"
"Don't you see! We were trying to do this to protect her."
"In all honesty, maybe it has worked for Jill and Jessa. Maybe it hasn't worked so well for Josh. It probably wouldn't work for Jana either. You think Jana didn't think about the consequences earlier? And if she had, would she have gone with it?" I asked. "She's going through something that was supposed to be a happy time in her life, with a bunch of congratulations and hugs since this will be her first birth. Especially when there are triplets. I think this relationship is good for Jana." I finished.
"Jennifer, you may have an opinion but I am the father. Jana has disobeyed and we do not accept this."
"Pops. You love Jana. You know you do. She's your first daughter. She's almost in her thirties. She deserves a life!" I yelled. Everyone else was quiet. I could tell a bunch of them felt the same way as I did.
"Yes I am quieter but I do have a say and an opinion. So does everyone else in this family." I said.
"I agree." Justin said. "I know that we have our rules but times are changing."
Mama was the next one to talk. She didn't rather enjoy having to deal with conflict.
"Oh I think this will take time to get over. Meanwhile, Josie and Jordyn, and also Mackynzie, your birthdays are coming up soon. How would you like to celebrate them? Jordyn you're turning fourteen and Josie and Mackynzie are turning fourteen."

A/N: hey I'm thinking of changing the title of this book because I'm finding it's being based more on Jana Duggar than the rest of the Duggar family. I will try to change it up and make it more interesting for the rest of the family since I am updating more regularly. Comment what you think.
