"Hey," I said walking over to Jana pulling her into a different room. "I may or may not have brought the CD."
A smile crept up on her face.
We were at a family celebration, a real meeting for my family to meet Jana and her brother John as well as her cousin Amy.
"Do you want to watch it with my family? Or privately?" I asked her.
"With your family. Which is now my family." Jana said. She laced her fingers within mine. "If that's okay with you."
"Let's go." I said smiling at her.
"What's that?" Rachel asked me when we emerged.
"Hey, guys. Come sit." I said.
The family crowded around the television.
"This, is the DVD of our future children." I said, my hand still linked in Jana's.
"Congratulations!" Tyler exclaimed.
"This DVD has the genders of the children." Jana said. "We don't even know yet."
"Put it in!" People said excitedly.
The DVD started.
