I got a phone call from Jana.

"Amy!" She sounded scared.
"Can I stay at your place tonight and maybe tomorrow?"

"Jana, are you okay?" I asked, genuinely worried.

"Yes, well no. Well, I don't know."

"Yes yes, stay at my house for as long as you need."

"Thank you Amy," Jana said, I realized she was now sobbing. "I will explain more when I get there."

"Jana you take all the time you need my girl. I'm here for you."

"Thank you." She sobbed and hung up.

In a short while, Jana was standing at the door with her bag in hand.

"Jana come on in." I say ushering her in.

She walked into my house and then started balling. I just held her in a hug.

After she had let the tears out, she explained to me what had happened.

"John and I were in Calgary and I met this guy named Dawson. Some things happened and now... I'm pregnant." She said.

"Oh my gosh! Congratulations!" I say elated about the news.

"With triplets." She finished. I am truly stunned by this.

"How far are you?"

"End of the first trimester. I had a feeling they knew I was pregnant. I have been gaining a bunch of weight." Jana said.

"Well you look great. I never would have guessed. But this doesn't exactly explain what happened." I say.

"Well, after dinner, Jessa announced she was having triplets. She's half way through her first trimester. Almost as far as I am. They don't know the genders yet. I announced that I was having triplets after discussing it with Jessa before hand. My dad just completely freaked on me. He told me to get out of the house immediately."

"Well first of all, that is good for them. But darling, you need to focus on yourself. Good for you that you made your own decisions. You are experiencing your first pregnancy and you're having triplets."

Her face looked relieved to hear that.

"Do you know about gender yet?" I asked her.

"Dawson says there is a DVD at home waiting."

"You know what girl? I'm going to be here for you no matter what throughout this pregnancy." I said.

"Amy, no you have your own life too." She protested.

"I want to be here for you. I know that if I were in your situation I would want at least one person to be there for me other than my hus- I mean partner."  I said, correcting myself from saying husband.

"Thank you Amy."

"Here's the plan." I say "We stay here tonight. Tomorrow we pack and head to, where is it? Calgary? I'll stay with you if you don't mind for a couple of weeks, help you prepare. Then I can stay nearby incase you need me."

"Amy, you do know that a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Which means you will be there for a good 6 months."

"Oh it's okay girl," I reassure her. "My husband Dillon has a house in Alberta somewhere where we can stay. I think it's his siblings house. If they knew this, they'd let me stay with you."

"Thank you Amy." Jana says.
