So Daws had told me about a girl who he had met here in Calgary. I don't know what he's told her. He's told me that she's special but hasn't elaborated.

There's a thing called the protective older brother, well I'm the female version of that. I care for my younger brothers Dawson and Tyler.

My family has had a rough past. My father, Christopher, met my mother when he was young. In his late teens early twenties. He would do anything to protect her. My mother died in a plane crash in August of 1994 when I was 8. I remember hearing the news and then life became very miserable.

When she died, he became depressed. He started drinking a lot and was rarely around to help parent us and whenever he would, it would hinder the relationships more than help them. We had a nanny to take care of us though. My mother was some kind of doctor who had made and saved up a bunch of money for us and our futures. My father was an entrepreneur. I guess our lives had the basics covered. We basically lived in a mansion, had a nanny to raise us, had five televisions and as many electronics as we wanted. There was always food on our plates and it felt like we would never have to work a day in our lives ever.

Dawson was 5 when my mother died so he remembers some information more than others such as what she looked like, the sound of her voice etc. but even that information is fading as he gets older. He remembers seeing my father enter his rough stage as well.

The baby of the family, Tyler, remembers barely anything of my mother. Just my father and that is barely enough of a parent. He was only 1 year old, turning 2 the next month.

I remember it all happening. It was a nightmare unfolding. My father would drink and leave the house. Sometimes he wouldn't return for days or weeks at a time. I guess we have turned out okay though. I am married to Andreas and we have two children, Melissa who is 8 and Kayla who is 6. I have been able to deal with the loss of my mother and my father and turn out somewhat "normal."

Tyler is married to Annabeth Gallie. They have a son named Chase who is 7. Tyler only remembers Mom through pictures of her.

Dawson has struggled the most out of all three of us. Since he remembers bits and pieces, it seems that he's fighting with himself to keep the memories with him while trying to live a "normal" life. He has gone through depression, anxiety, and self-harm. He is working with his depression and self-harm to keep it at a minimum level as possible. His anxiety can get worked up in tough situations.

The last time we have seen each other( as siblings) was Thanksgiving. Dawson had brought up how he had met a sweet girl named Jana and that she was a part of a television show from 2009-2014 along with her family.

He had explained that although she has a great supply of everything including money, he hasn't fallen for her because of that.

He then went onto explain that she was very religious and followed the rules. Recently when Jana had gone down to Arkansas to see her family, Dawson had told us she was pregnant with triplets. We all congratulated him and hoped to see her soon when she arrived back.

The time came when her and her twin brother John arrived back. They had also brought their cousin Amy.

"Howdy Y'all!" She greeted us cheerfully. "I'm Amy," she said in a country accent. "Jana and John-David's cousin."
We all shook hands and got taking.
Then Kayla looked up at me and whispered "Mommy, why does she have a weird accent?"
"Honey, we don't say that. It is impolite. Jana also has that accent, you just haven't noticed it." I explained to her.

I got the impression that Amy was very different than Jana and John and probably the rest of that family. Nonetheless she seemed very sweet and bubbly.

Dawson and Jana went off somewhere. When they returned, Dawson was holding a CD in his hand.
