*two weeks before Christmas*
"Josie, Jordyn!" Michelle calls up to the girls room.
"Yes Mama?" Jordyn replies.
"Are you almost ready to go?"
"Yes Mama."
All of the girls; Anna, Michelle, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joy-Anna, Johannah, Jennifer, Mackynzie, Meredith, Madison, Sayla and Izabel were downstairs in the Duggar household waiting to go to the spa, like Jordyn wanted for her birthday.
"Happy Birthday!" Everyone said happily to Jordyn.
"Oh Josie!" Jill said brightly "Happy Birthday!"
More birthday wishes were said.
"Josie," Michelle said, "you said you wanted to go to the ball park, the rest of the family will meet us there."
"Okay mama."
"Mama," Jinger said "wouldn't it make more sense to go to the ball park first? Because we may or may not get totally covered in dirt."
"That's a good point. I can call the spa, ask them to move the appointment later." Michelle said worriedly. "Joy, can you contact one of the guys, let them know plans have changed a little bit?"
"You bet!" Joy said cheerfully.

The phone started ringing and someone picked up on the third ring.
"Hello?" Someone asked. Jedidiah.
"Hey Jed. Change of plans. Ball park first, the girls are going to get their nails done later." Says Joy.
"Okay. Do you want me to tell Pops?"
"Yes please."
Another voice came on the line. Jim-Bob. "Hey Joy. So there's been a change of plans?" 
"Ya."
"How soon do you want us there?"
"Probably as soon as possible." Joy says.
"Okay. We'll be there."

"Yeah? Okay. Thank you very much!" The phone clicked off and Michelle was smiling. "I got us in for a later time. All of us!"
"That's awesome!" Jill said smiling.
"Not meaning to be rude," Josie said "but we should get going."

Arriving at the ball park early, James got out of the car.
"Dad, when will they be here?"
"If they're running on Duggar time, who knows." Jim-Bob responded.
"But we usually run on Duggar time. Don't we?" Justin asked.
"Yes, usually. But today we're earlier because the schedule was changed. Let's go in, get registered." Jim-Bob said.

"Where are they?" Someone asked.
"They had just left when Joy phoned. Who knows how long it will take them to get here." Jim-Bob reasoned.
"Speaking of," Joseph says "here they are."

Hellos were said, even though they had seen each other previously.
"We're all set." Jim-Bob reported.
"Great! Thank you!" Josie said excitedly.
"Okay. What teams do we want?" Michelle asked.
"I think that Josie and someone should be the team captains." Jim-Bob said.
"Josie, who would you like to be team captains with you?"
"Jordyn."
"Okay. Go ahead." Michelle said.
"I'm gonna watch for now." Jessa says, "you know, babies and everything."
"Me too." Says Anna.
"Okay that makes sense." Says Jim-Bob.

"Ready??" Jessa said. She was chosen to be the umpire for the game. "Play ball!"

In the end, the score was 3-2 Josie's team. When in a game, the Duggar's were very competitive.
"Congratulations Josie's team!" Michelle said. "Jordyn and Josie, you were both excellent team captains!"
