I immediately regretted telling Jessa about the number of children I was having. I knew it was important to her to get her news out to the family.

"Well I don't want to be the one stopping you." I said to Jessa.

Dinner came and went.

Then it was bible time. The whole family crowded into the boys room like we had in the past. We read through the bible, discussed what it meant, prayed, and talked about our days.

Eventually it came down to Jessa. "Well, earlier today, we had an eventful morning. Spurgeon hurt his arm as you could probably tell however it wasn't major. Erin accidentally ran into a cabinet but she wasn't very hurt so it is okay. Then we were invited here."

"Yes," Mama cut in "I was worried when you didn't answer the phone this morning and was relieved when you phoned back."

"Once we got here," Jessa continued, nodding at Mama acknowledging her comment "it is great to see you all." She finished.

"And, as we were saying earlier, we have a little announcement." Ben said. "We found out a couple of days ago how many babies we are having and we thought we could use your help." Ben looked at Jessa and they both sighed. Everyone's faces looked eager to find out the news.

"1-2-3" Jessa and Ben both counted "WE'RE HAVING TRIPLETS" they announced.

Everyone's faces lit up. There were a lot of "Congratulations" being said.

It made me think that this could be the reaction that I could get. I'm having the same number of babies as Jessa. She's already had two children, she's used to giving birth. Having triplets as your first birth can be extremely hard. I wish we could be going through this together but I don't feel that I can share this news right now, or ever because of beliefs and that I would practically be disowned from the family.
