I sat in the hospital waiting room next to Ava, who was really freaking out. I could tell she was really attached to Grant.
"We really need to stop ending up here..." Luke said, nervously. Thomas was at the hideout with the baby and everyone else. A thought was itched into the back of my mind, on repeat.
"I have to go..." I said, standing up.
"Cait, where are you going?" Ava asked.
"Don't worry, I'll be back." And without another word, I left. This wasnt over yet.

I stop on the top of the building, staring out over the city.
"Well well. Looks like another O'Brien's come here to die." I turned around and saw Kaya, closing the door.
"Yeah, sure. You can kill me if you'd like. But first answer one question for me," I replied. She snickered and leaned against the doorway.
"Anything for a friend."
"How many of you are still out of prison?" She smiled and walked over to me.
"Just Nick and I. But don't worry. We'll get Daniel and everyone else we need out. Start rebuilding our team. We're always going to survive. And Nick always has a plan. And his plans never fail." She didn't know. Perfect.
"Yeah that's true. Well. Except for his last one."
"What?" She asked.
"His last plan. You know, breaking into our bunker and forcing Harry to start a nuclear war. That one definitely failed."
"How did-"
"Because he already tried it. And I shot him. Right in the head. So sorry, by the way. I know you were in love with him."
"You little bitch!" She shouted, jumping at me. She grabbed me by the hair and threw me to the ground, but I grabbed her arm and pulled her with me. I flipped us over and elbowed her in the nose, causing a stream of blood to gush out. She pushed us over and slammed my head against the brick wall, quickly standing up and forcing me to look over the edge.
"Time to join your brother," she said. As she went to push me over, I grabbed her around the waist and pulled her, forcing her over the edge. She grabbed hold of my ankle and began dragging me down, but I quickly held onto the pipe, hanging out of the ledge. I kicked at her, trying to get her to let go of me, but her grip was too tight. She tried climbing up, but slipped, still holding onto my ankle. My grip on the pipe was quickly growing weaker and I knew I couldn't hold on for much long. I brought my leg up as far as I could and kicked down as hard as possible, connecting my boot to her face and causing her to fall. I felt myself slipping and I tried to get a better hold of something, but there was nothing. Suddenly I felt myself let go, but before I could fall 2 hands grabbed each of my own. I looked up abd saw Brendon and Thomas, holsing onto me. They quickly pulled me up and I fell to the ground. Thomas quickly kneeled next to me and pulled me into a hug.
"How did you know where I was?" I asked, breathing heavily.
"It doesn't matter." He pulled away and looked at me. "Havent you learned that you should never leave anywhere by yourself?" I laughed and hugged him again. It was over. It was finally over.
