Chapter 4

Lamia's P.O.V.

Adrian and I set up an air mattress in her room for me to sleep on. I shifted into my neko form and laid down.

" What form do you sleep in?" she asked. I giggled.

" Either neko or cat form." I answered. 

" Can you talk to other cats?"

" No."

" Can you see in the dark?"

" Yes."

" What happens when you're around cat nip?"

" Don't know, I stay away from it."

" Can you purr in human form?"

" No."

" Can you hear better than humans?"

" Yes, but I'm used to the noises being so loud so it doesn't bother me much."

" Do you always land on your feet?"

" Most of the time I do."

" Okay, I'm done with my questions." she said. I laughed.

" To be honest, I'm surprised you're still my friend."

" Why's that?" she asked.

" Well, most humans consider my kind, in a word, monsters. In all reality, we're just like humans except a bit more accepting." I explained. She nodded in understanding.

" I get it." she said and smiled at me. I hugged her and she hugged back. There was a knock on the door.

" Girls, it's time for bed." I heard Adrian's mom say through the door.

" Okay." Adrian and I said in unison then giggled. Adrian crawled into bed as I laid my Bowie knife on top of my bag and laid on the air mattress. Adrian fell asleep first and the house was insanely quiet. I started to drift off when I heard something hit the ground downstairs.

Intruder's P.O.V.

I slipped through the window and ended up in the kitchen. I accidentally knocked over a broom and it hit the floor. I ignored it and walked into a living room. It was a nice place, to be honest. I continued through the living room and headed for the stairs. I was suddenly tackled from the side and pinned down. I growled and looked at the person who held me down. To my surprise it was a girl. She had blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. I felt a knife on my throat.

" Who are you and what do you want?" she growled.

" The name's Cameron and I wanna kill everyone in this house." I said, simply. The knife pressed against my throat.

" Over my dead body." she spat.

" I can arrange that." I said with a smile. She reached into her pocket and held a small device in her hand.

" This is something my parents were working on before they died. I finished it up and it works perfectly. You see, once I put this under your skin, you cannot go near anyone I know or love with the intention to hurt or kill them. If you do, an electric shock will pass through your body and I will be alerted. I will also be able to track you if need be. If you try to take it out, it's shock you and dig itself deeper inside you. I call them buggers." she explained.

" How do you expect to get that inside me?" I spat. She smiled.

" Simple." she said as she hit me in the head with something hard and knocked me out.

I woke up in my room in the mansion. I had a massive headache and couldn't remember what happened last night. I stretched and walked downstairs. Sally jumped into my arms and I smiled.

" Hey, Sal." I said.

" Hey, Cammy. How ya feeling?" she asked.

" Bad, but I will still play with you later if that's what you're wondering." I promised. She cheered and jumped from my arms to go bother Ben. I walked to the kitchen to see Masky and Hoodie eating cheesecake.

" Seriously, is that all you two eat?" I asked. They looked at me and shook their head. I chuckled a bit. I turned to see Jeff in the doorway. He placed a hand on my shoulder.

" Hey, bro, what happened last night? EJ found you unconscious in the woods." he said. I just shrugged.

" I can't remember anything from last night except leaving to go kill." I said, honestly. I walked out the kitchen, after grabbing an apple, and sat on the couch. I started eating my apple. Ben was playing his video games while Sally was poking his arm and saying his name repeatedly. He growled and I laughed.

" What's so funny, grass head?" he spat at me.

" Okay, one I take pride in my green hair and two it's funny how Sally can annoy you so easily." I said. He growled and continued his game. I decided to go back into my room and laid down. I tried to remember what happened last night but I couldn't.

' Ben and Cameron come to my office.' I heard Slendy's voice order in my head. I sighed and walked to his office. I walked inside to see Ben and Slenderman. ' Cameron someone put a device inside of you last night.'

" How do you know?" I asked.

' There is a cut on your side, also, Eyeless Jack and I did an X-ray on you while you were unconscious.'

" Who put it in me?" I asked.

' I don't know but you two will find out.'  Slendy said. 'Starting Monday you will be going to highschool.'

" I understand that you need to find out who this person is but I don't really look human." Ben pointed out. I chuckled but I stopped when Slendy smacked me with his tentacle.

' I can fix that. Do not worry, I will explain everything on Sunday night. You are dismissed.'  Slendy teleported away and I walked out his office. I sighed as I walked towards Sally's room to play with her. Ben pixelated in front of me.

" Where you heading, grass head?" He asked, insulting me in the process.

" Leave me alone, link reject." I growled.

" Or what?"

" I will cut your fucking head off with your own fucking sword and stuff it in a bucket of water." I threatened and he pixelated away. I walked to Sally's room and knocked. Sally opened the door and pulled me inside.

" Are you here to play with me and Charlie?" she asked, giving me her puppy dog eyes. I smiled.

" No." I lied. She frowned.

" Oh." she said, sadly. " Why are you here then?" 

" I'm here to warn you."

" Warn me?" she said, getting a bit scared. I knelt down and motioned for her to come closer. She did.

" The tickle monster is here." I whispered to her and started tickling her. She fell to the ground and started laughing.

" S-stop!" she shouted through her laughter. I laughed and stopped. Her laughter calmed down and she glared at me.

" What?" I asked, innocently. She just growled and lunged at me. I caught her and laughed. " Calm down tiger, I'll play with you. I was just kidding when I said I wasn't."

" Yaaaaaaaaay!!" she cheered and I put her down.

" What are we playing today?" I asked. She gave me a evil grin. Oh-no.

" Dress up." she said, giving me the same evil grin. I'm gonna regret this.
