Chapter 24

Lamia's P.O.V.

My knife was so close to his throat. I was close enough to slit his throat... But.... That necklace.... I.... Recognize it....

Flashback

I smiled at the necklace in my hand. It's a gift for Cameron when he gets back. It's a silver chain with a charm. The charm was a simple copy of a the time we first met. I know he doesn't remember. The charm had a girl holding a knife to the boys throat while on top of him. My bedroom door opened and I quickly hid the necklace behind my back. Cameron came in.

" Hey Cammy." I smiled. He looked at me confused.

" What did you do Lamia?" He asked cautiously. I blushed.

" N-Nothing!" I said quickly. He rose an eyebrow.

" What are you hiding?" He looked  amused. I quickly shoved the necklace in my back pocket as he stepped towards me. I stepped back and stumbled a bit. He took the opportunity to pin me to the wall. My face turned red.

" I'm not hiding anything." I lied. He smirked.

" You know I hate it when you lie to me." He had a mischievous look in his eyes. He leaned in and kissed me. When he pulled away he presented the necklace.

" Hehe. I guess you found it." I chuckled as I blushed. " It's for you. I had the charm made myself. It's the day we first met." He looked at the charm and blushed.

" Th-thank you." He stuttered. I giggled. He pinned me down again and kissed me. This time I kissed back.

End of flashback

I blinked. Cameron? Why am I attacking you.... I stood up and turned to Zalgo. He looked amused.

" Lamia. Remember. You want to avenge your parents. He killed them." Zalgo spoke. My head pounded.

" No...." I said quietly. I held my knife defiantly at him. I felt weak. I'm going to pass out. I threw my knife with all my force towards Zalgo. Soon after, I fainted.

' Lamia.'  I heard a voice call out. But it was like they were talking through water. Lamia? Is that me? I think it is.

' Lamia. wake up.' I heard again. I opened my eyes and it was blurry. I could just barely make out green hair. My vision cleared up and I could see a boy with green hair and grey eyes looming over me.

" Who are you?" I asked as I studied him. He frowned.

" Don't you remember me?" He asked. He seemed upset. I studied him closely but I just didn't recognize him so I shook my head. He sighed. " You must have lost your memory."

" Where am I? The last thing I remember is going to somewhere after saying goodbye to Darren and Danielle and Adrian and Ethan. But I don't remember where." I asked as I looked around the room. It looked like a hospital of some kind.

" You're in the infirmary of slender-manson." The boy responded as he stood.

" Wait." I Said when he walked away.

" What is it Lamia?" He asked in response.

"I don't wanna be left alone. Please don't leave me alone." I said sadly. He sighed and sat back down.

"Alright." He said. We sat in a comfortable silence while I played with my tail.

" Hey. Can I go home now?" I asked and Cameron frowned.

" Lamia. This is your home. Why don't you remember?" He said and started to cry. I got up and went over to him and hugged him. He hugged back and kept mumbling 'why don't you remember' over and over again. He eventually calmed down.

" I have to use the bathroom." He said, then left. I sat for a few minutes, but got bored. I decided to turn into my cat form and play with the bedsheet that dangled from the side of the bed. A really tall man with no face suddenly appeared. I turned into my neko form.

' I am glad to see you awake, child.'   he said in my head. I looked at him confused.

" Who are you? I am not your child. I don't even know who you are." I said. He nodded.

' it seems as though your memory has been erased. Well, my name is Slenderman.'  he responded. ' would you like to come downstairs for dinner. You can meet everyone again.'  I thought about it and nodded.

" Do I need to shift into a human? This form is way more comfy." I said.

' It's all up to you.' slenderman said.

" Well since you're obviously not human I don't think they'll mind. Will they?" I asked and he shook his head. I stood up and he walked with me down the hallway (stopping only once to show me where my room was) then down the stairs. We stopped in a room that had a huge table and a bunch of people. I sorta got nervous and hid behind slenderman.

' Why don't you go sit by Cameron? He's the one with the green hair.'  slenderman said. I timidly did as i was told. Everyone introduced themselves. The only one I recognized was my aunt Claire.

" Wait, so Mia lost her memory?" The girl named Sally asked. Slenderman nodded. Everyone started talking as I poked around at my plate. I wasn't hungry. 

" May I be excused sir?" I asked slenderman and he nodded. I got up with my plate in hand. I set my plate on the counter. I went up to my room and looked around. It all looked so foreign. I laid on the bed and started to tear up. Why can't i remember? I rolled over and seen a book on the nightstand. I sat up and picked it up. I flipped through it. There were a bunch of inventions and elixirs. I stopped at one that caught my eye. Hinnellete. It read:

Hinnellete

Use for memory loss.

How to use
Touch something that contains a lot of forgotten memories.

Drip EXACTLY one drop of the liquid on your tongue.

Do not loose contact with the object.

Warning
Do not use any more than one drop. If any directions are not followed exactly, the result could lead to death. Unconscious may follow the use.

I bit my lip as I read it. Is it worth it? I really want to remember. I sighed and decided to sleep on it. I set the book aside and laid back down. Just as I started to fall asleep, my door creaked open. I pretended to sleep as the door shut and the person came closer. I felt uneasy. The side of my bed sank in and a hand laid on my stomach. I remained still. This didn't feel right... The person's hand traveled up my side, something inside me snapped as I sprang up and looked at the person. A cut-in smile and burnt eyelids let me know exactly who it was. Just then, I remembered something...
