Chapter 7

Lamia's P.O.V.

' this is my study.' Slenderman said in my head. I looked at him to see his mouth was gone.

" It's very nice." I said as I looked around. The desk looked vintage. Actually, everything in this room looks vintage.

' Thank you, child.'  He said. I nodded.

" Now, let's get down to business." I said, clapping my hands together. " I'm staying here at this mansion."

' that isn't the best idea. All of those whom live in my mansion are not completely human.'  he argued.

" who says I'm human." I said as I shifted into my neko form. " listen Slenderman, I need to stay here. I have unfinished business with one of the people in this mansion."

' who might that be?'  he asked.

" I don't know his name." I looked down. " but I do know that he killed my parents and I swore I'd make him pay."

' you will not be able to kill anyone within my mansion.'

" who says anything about killing." I smirked.

' Fine, you may stay.'  he gave in.

" let's keep the fact I'm not human between me, you, and EJ, please." I asked and he nodded. I shifted into my human form. Someone knocked on the door. After a few seconds, EJ walked in. He handed me my Bowie knife and I smiled. I stuck it in the side pocket of my cargo pants. " thanks EJ. This means a lot to me."

" no problem, Lamia." he said as his mask lifted slightly.

' Lamia will be staying here at the mansion. Her room will be across from yours, so I would like it if you help her feel at home. Also, could you show her around and introduce her to everyone.'  Slenderman said and EJ nodded. ' Lamia, Ben will take you to get everything you need from your home. You might not return.'  I frowned a bit but nodded. I knew it would come to that but I didn't want to believe it. ' both of you are dismissed.' EJ and I walked out of Slenderman's study.

" let's go meet this Ben." I said. EJ laughed.

" Okay, but heads up, he's a bit of a pervert." He warned.

" noted." I said with a laugh. We walked into the living room.

" Ben, Slendy said take her to her house so she could get her things."  EJ said and a boy with blonde hair and a link costume stood up. He had blood leaking out of his eyes which were all black with a red pupil. He walked over to me and held out a hand.

" take my hand, sweet stuff." he winked at me. I rolled my eyes but did as he said. He pulled me close to him and we pixelated away. We ended out in my room. I pulled myself out of Ben's arms and grabbed my suitcase. I started stuffing my clothes in. I stopped when I seen the picture on my nightstand. I picked it up and smiled. It was a picture of me, Adrian and Ethan and Danielle at the zoo. We were all smiling and happy. I remember it like it was yesterday. It started raining as we were leaving and I pushed Ethan into a puddle. I set the frame carefully into my suitcase. I shut it and zipped it up.

" I'll be back. I need to make a stop before we go back." I said and Ben nodded. I ran out my room and down the stairs. I then ran out the door and to Delights café. I looked at my watch. It was 4:28. They should be here. I walked inside and looked around. Ethan was holding Adrian as she cried into his shoulder. Danielle was sitting next to them, wiping away a few tears. Darren had his arm wrapped around her shoulder, gently rubbing her arm. Danielle was the first to see me and she quickly ran to me and hugged me. I hugged back. Soon, everyone joined into the hug.

" we were all so worried about you Lamia." Danielle said. I pulled out of the hug.

" Guys I love you so much. I'll be gone for a while but I promise I'll come back. Ethan and Darren, don't forget that my threats still stand. Adrian and Danielle, keep an eye on your idiots. I'll miss you guys. I'll try to stay in contact but where I'm going, I'm not sure if I can but I will try." I promised. They hugged me again. Adrian kissed my cheek and Danielle kissed my forehead. Ethan gave me a huge hug and Darren gave me a noogie. " take care you guys."

" be safe." they all said in unison. I hugged them all one last time before I went back to my former house. I went in my room and grabbed my suitcase. Ben grabbed me again and we pixilated back to the mansion. EJ was there waiting.

" EJ, where's my room? That's all I want to know right now." I said and he nodded. I followed him as we walked past many doors.

" your room is right here." he said as he opened the door. " if you need anything my room is right across the hall." I nodded and took my suitcase from him. I went in my new room. I shut and locked the door then laid face down in my new bed. I shifted into neko form and cried my eyes out. After a while, there was a knock on my door. I sniffled.

" who is it?" I asked through the door.

" umm, it's Cameron. Can I come in?" he asked. I shifted into my human form and unlocked the door. I went back to my bed and curled into a ball. I heard the door open then shut. Then I felt the bed sink in. " listen I know this is hard and I want you to know I'm here for you even though you may not trust me." he said and I turned over to look at him. He smiled at me and I glared at him.

" no you don't know how I feel. My parents were killed when I was 5 and Danielle took me in. Adrian and Ethan saved me from being bullied in fifth grade because I was different. Darren helped me when I was really young and I just recently found him again. They were the only family I had left and I just basically left them!" I shouted at him. " the only reason you're being nice to me is because I'm the only one who can take my bugger out of you."  I sat up and he looked down.

" that's not why I'm being nice to you. I don't give a flying rat's ass about the bugger inside me. I'm being nice to you because I know exactly how you feel. I went through the same thing when I came here. My family and my friends. I had to leave them." he said. I hugged him and he hugged back. " I am here for you. My room is actually right next to yours."

" Thanks Cameron. I think I'm going to set up my room now." I said as I looked around. It was really plain. He chuckled and got up. He left and I locked the door. Time to get to work.
