Chapter 8

Lamia's P.O.V.

I put all my clothes in my dresser and put my picture on my nightstand. I sighed and shifted into my cat form. I walked around my room, looking for good hiding spots. I found one under my dresser and another under my nightstand. I could fit easily and comfortably. I jumped up onto my bed. I laid there staring at my picture. A wave of sadness hit me as someone knocked on the door. I shifted into human form and opened the door. It was EJ.

" It's time for dinner, you should come down and meet everyone." He said. I smiled and nodded. He led me downstairs and to a dining room. Everyone was there. EJ sat down and I sat in the empty spot next to him. EJ was on my right and a little girl was on my left. In front of me was the lowlife who killed my parents. I sighed.

' Let's introduce ourselves to the newest arrival. Lamia introduce yourself.' Slenderman said. I stood up.

" My name is Lamia." I said then sat back down. Everyone else stood one at a time and introduced themselves. There was Sally, she was a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes. Laughing Jack, or LJ, was a monochrome clown. Masky, a boy in a feminine mask. Hoodie, a shy boy with an orange hoodie. Clockwork, the only other girl in the mansion, besides Sally. Glitchy red, a boy who looked like ash. Lost silver, a boy who was missing his arms and legs. Jeff, the boy who killed my parents, he had black hair and a cut smile. Ticci Toby, a boy with orange goggles and a face guard. Puppeteer, a man who could control people with strings that come out his fingers. Kagekao, a Man who has a black and white mask and only speaks Japanese. Bloody Painter, a boy who wore a mask with a blood red smile on it. Cameron was also at the table. Everyone started eating and talking but I just stayed silent and pushed my food around my plate with my fork. EJ nudged me. I looked at him. His mask was raised just above his mouth.

" cheer up, Lamia. Don't worry, you'll like it here." he said and smiled. I smiled back. At least I actually trust someone in this mansion. I ate and took my plate to the kitchen. I went to wash it when Slenderman stopped me.

' do not worry about cleaning your dish, child. I will do it.' He said. I looked up at him

" are you sure? I have no problem doing it." I said. He nodded and took the plate from me. I sighed and went upstairs. I was suddenly pulled into a room. I growled when I seen Jeff.

" you don't belong here, lame-ia." he spat. I rolled my eyes.

" it's lamia. Luh-me-ah. Not lame-ia." I corrected, glaring at him. " I don't have time to deal with you at the moment." I said as I went for the door. He grabbed me and held a knife to my throat. I sighed. " I suggest you let me go." I said.

" why would I do that?" he growled.

" because if you don't Cameron will get a shock through his body. Also, as he screams, I will stab you in a place you don't ever want to be stabbed in."

" you wouldn't dare."

" wanna test that theory." I said as I slowly reached into my side pocket for my knife. I grabbed it and quickly stabbed him in his side. I twisted the knife and he screamed. His grip on me loosened and I pulled out my knife. I ran out the door and knocked on EJ's. He answered and I ran in, shutting and locking the door behind me. I panted and involuntarily shifted into my neko form.

" umm, what happened?" he asked.

" Jeff tried to kill me but I stabbed him and ran. I'm too tired to shift." I explained as I wiped the blood off of my knife with my shirt.

" do you want me to get you some new clothes?" he asked. I nodded.

" please."

" okay, I'll be right back." he said as he walked out. A few minutes later he came back in with one of my shirts and a pair of sweatpants.

" thanks EJ." I said.

" no problem." he said.

" could you turn around so I can change?" I asked and he nodded then faced the opposite way. I quickly changed. " done." I said and he turned around. I hugged him and placed my other clothes on my head. I stuffed my tail into my sweats. EJ laughed.

" at least your room is just across the hall." he said and I nodded. I quickly went across the hall and into my room. I made sure the door was locked before I jumped into bed. It turned out to be really hot in my room so I slept in only my bra and underwear.

I stretched as I woke up. I looked around for my scratching post but remembered that I left it at my old house. I groaned then shifted into cat form. I clawed on my dresser. There was a knock on the door and I shifted into human form. I opened the door to see Cameron.

" Hey butt wipe. What do you want and why is your face so red?" I asked.

" S-slender said to get ready to take your bugger out of me." he stuttered then walked off.

" Okay?" I said as I shut my door. I blushed as I realized that I was still only in a bra and underwear. I quickly got dressed and ran to catch up to Cameron. " Could you show me to the infirmary?" I asked. He nodded and kept walking. I followed him. We made it to a white door and walked inside. EJ was pulling out a bunch of supplies.

" Good both of you are here." he said. " Lamia here are all the surgical supplies."

" Don't need them." I said then turned to Cameron. " you're going to feel a slight shock once I deactivate it. Once I remove it you will voice every thought you have and will not be able to lie for 12 hours."

" Why does that happen?" he asked.

" my buggers are not supposed to be removed. If it is without being deactivated it'll release a large shock and dig itself deeper. It also let's out a toxin that will knock the host out. By deactivating it it doesn't release that toxin but it releases another one." I explained as I slid the face of my watch to the left. " sit on one of the beds when you're ready."
