Chapter 23

Cameron's P.O.V.

I walked down the long hallway. It was dark. Not the lack of light kind of dark. More like the dreary kind of dark.

"Cameron..." Lamia's voice whispered. I just barely heard it. I continued to walk.

"Cameron..." She sounded desperate. I sped up a bit. I came across a door. It was black like it was burnt. I opened it. I froze when I seen what's in front of me. Lamia. She was chained up. The clamps were so tight that it was cutting into her wrists and ankles. Her ears and tail where out. She looks like she was just beat. She had no clothes on so I could see all the cuts and bruises.

" Cameron..." Her voice weakly whispered.

" I'm here Lamia." I stepped forward to take off the chains. She looked up and frowned.

" Leave me. Tell Slenderman these exact words. 'he comes'. Now go. He's coming back." She said weakly.

I woke up to the pillow that I was laying on shaking violently. I lifted the pillow to see Lamia's knife shaking just as violently as the pillow was. I tried to grab it but it burnt my hand. I quickly went to Slendy's office and knocked on the door. He opened it.

' Greetings child. What can I do for you?' he asked.

" Something isn't right. Lamia's knife is shaking and it burnt my hand when I went to touch it."

' That is unusual.'

" Oh and I had a nightmare. Lamia was chained up and beat. She wanted me to tell you ' he comes' whatever that means. It seemed important to her though." I shrugged. Slenderman seemed to tense up.

' Quick child. Go get Claire, Franco, and Anko.'

" Ok?" I said confused as I walked away. I found all three of them on the front stairs. Claire was smoking a cigarette. She glaced at me.

" What's up Cameron?" She asked as she brought the cigarette up to her lips.

" Slendy wants you guys." I said. Claire put out her cigarette as she stood up straight. We all left to his study.

' Children, it has come to my attention that zalgo has somehow captured Lamia. We must go retrieve her.'  slendy said.

" I'll go. Wouldn't it be best for me to go anyway? Do we want those three to be found out?"

" He does have a point." Franko responded. Slendy nodded.

' Very well then. Anko will join you. His shapeshifting ability will prove to be useful'  Slendy said. I nodded.

Lamia's P.O.V.

I panted heavily. It took a lot of energy to contact Cameron. I quickly caught my breath as the door opened.

" You are a strong minded girl. Even when you're unconscious, I can't get into your brain." Zalgo said as he walked in. I rolled my eyes at him. He punched me in the face. My vision blurred and I felt my nose start to bleed again. I smiled and let out a small giggle.

" You think, just because you rule down here in this hell, that you can control whoever the fuck you want, whenever the fuck you want. News flash darling, I don't bow to anyone. Especially pigs like you." I spat blood at him.

" Oh. Is that so? " He said as he smirked. "Bring her in Jane!" He shouted and the same girl who took me through the portal came in with... My mom? Her head was down.

" Let her go! Let my mom go!" I shouted as I desperately tried to get out my restraints.

" I'll make you a deal. Surrender your mind to my control, and I... I will allow you to speak with her, for as long as you like. I will also release her soul from this place." Zalgo spoke and I started to tear up.

" Deal. Just... I get to talk to her first. I know what you will do once I unlock my mind. I want to talk to her first. Alone." I said. And he nodded. He let me out my restraints and I stumbled to the ground. My mom rushed to my side.

" We will be leaving now. Just send her out when you're done. She's dead. Hahaha. So she can walk through the door." Zalgo stated as he and Jane walked out. The door shut and I heard it click. My mom hugged me.

" You've grown so much. I wish I could have lived to watch you grow up. Did bear give you the journal?" She asked and I nodded.

" I modified some of the things in it and made a few of my own. I missed you and I found your killer. I'm going to avenge you both. I promise." I said. She smiled.

" I am so proud of you Lamia. You know your destiny right?" She asked. I nodded.

"Why are you here and not with dad?"

" I made a deal a long time ago with Zalgo. Your father. He was close to death and I made a deal so he could live. I was supposed to stay here for eternity. Haha."

" So I saved you after all. I love you mom."

" I love you too my little kitten." She hugged me and we started to cry together. This is our last goodbye. She kissed my forehead and stood. " You know he's going to-"

" I know..." I cut her off. She nodded and walked through the door. I sat there. Zalgo walked in.

" Now. It's time I eliminate my biggest threat." He smiled as he opened one of his seven mouths. A long, tongue-like tube came out and attached itself to my forehead. I let my mind free and seen all my memories flash in front of my eyes. Some were altered and some were completely deleted. My brain overloaded and I passed out.

Cameron's P.O.V.

I stared at the portal. Anko was a little flea on my shoulder. I stepped into the portal. When I exited out the other side a woman passed me and whispered four words.

" Save my daughter."

She disappeared and I walked to the throne room. I seen him for the second time. Zalgo. His black and red skin was the same. His horns never changed and he still had all seven mouths.

" Where is she?" I demanded. Zalgo just smirked.

" Aren't you glad to see me?" He asked smiling.

" You're an evil being. I want Lamia back." I said sternly.

" Ca-" I cut him off.

" I don't care if you're my father or not. You left me and mom in the human world. You abandoned both of us. Lamia accepted me and took me in and I want her back." I said angrily. He stood. He didn't look shaken.

" You want her huh? Well, she wants her revenge." He smirked as Lamia came from behind his throne.

" Murderer. " She glared at me. Before I had the chance to move she was in front of me. Knife to my throat. " You killed my parents. Then my friends. Now I will kill you."

" Lamia. It's Cameron. You love me remember. I didn't do that" I said as I backed up quickly.

" Liar." She growled at me as she lunged towards me. I barely dodged the attack and the blade skimmed my arm. Lamia didn't stop she tackled me to the ground. She loomed over me, knife in both hands. She started to let the knife come down and I closed my eyes and waited for it to penetrate my chest.
