The steering wheel was reckless. Wind went against my direction. There was this howling sound rumbling in my ears. The retractable rigid roof was folded down. My hand gripped the clutch while I pulled down halfway, stepping the gas pedal down as I drifted a few turns at the corner.
The speed raised me. I made attempts to forget. Forget everything that caused my anger.
Neon lights hanging across a building. There was a small entrance door. The crowd caught my attention. I released the accelerator pedal and stepped in the brake pedal as the baby slowed to standstill.
Figuring out the people were dressing in fancy clothes, I presume it was a club. The music that thumped inside could faintly be heard from the outside.
My phone vibrated. It was Rachel.
I sighed and put the hand phone away. Give me a break. I am more than worn off just to be in the middle of some debates between Grace and Rachel.
Getting down from my car as I locked behind me. Tugged in my pockets. My curiosity searched for the entrance. I wondered how am I able to get in. There must be some kind of counter to purchase an entrance ticket. Searching among the crowds, I spotted two ladies.
One of them was in a black tight wrapped dress. Her black wavy waist-length hair lay on her back revealing her slender figure. The green ember eyes were beautiful. Smiling at the people as she clicked a few button on a device she was holding onto. The counter I presumed.
The other was wearing a pink tube dress. Much fair in skin tone than the other. Her petite height was lengthened with an extreme high heels of about four inch tall. Rachel shared with me about the inches of heels that women wear. She claimed that most would only wear up to three inch heels. Her eyes were black and vividly worn with thick dark eyelashes like two mini fans just above. Her hand busily scanned the hands of the crowd for some symbol.
"Evening ladies. May I know how to get in?" I approached, smiled as I politely asked.
"Purchase the ticket from our staff. There is a lady in white at the counter. Take another more steps and you can see her." The lady smiled as her green ember eyes blinked. My eyes scanned past her name tag 'Janet Wilson'
"Thank you Janet." I nodded as I thanked her.
Her face blushed like I had did some electrocuting stances on her. Nevertheless, I went on walking a few more steps to spot for the lady in white.
Black counter with the words ' Reception '. A lady with white blazer on. She had plaits for her dark hair. Smiling at me as she waited for my request.
"One ticket please." I smiled, signalled with my hand.
"That will be fifty, gentleman." She looked down into counter , typing in busily.
My card handed to her as she swifted to deduct. After a few minutes, I was returned back with the card and a chop on my right hand.
"Hi Chris." A hand tapped on my shoulder.
Turning around as I noticed it was Kathy. The Executive in Investment Department, rumoured to be hooking up with John Ang.
"I didn't know you are into this." She chuckled. Her dressing was much more revealing than the two staff standing at the entrance. A tube top and a short mini dress. It looked tight with her revealing belly button. The dressing exhibited that she had a slender waist like almost twenty four inch probably.
"I am not really having an age gap with you." I replied, trying to be casual. This is a night-out and I should be enjoying myself.
"Are you alone?" She questioned.
Nodded as I looked at her back for some answers too.
"Come join us. I had a few friends inside. Let me introduce you to them." She cheerfully welcomed me to their group.
We queued a few minutes before heading into the club.
Fantastic lighting on the dancing stage. It was crowded with people. I could spot three ladies like sisters dancing with the same dancing steps. There were couples too trying to get touchy with one another while dancing. I even spotted two that seemed like strangers and hitting on with each other.
Deejay was busy with two laptops. He was on headphone, and in serious mood as he figured out how to get the tuning right.
"Come!" Kathy shouted as she pulled me across the crowd that were standing at the long bar on the other side.
"Merin! This is Chris! My working colleague!" Kathy exclaimed to one of the three ladies that were circling a table. There wasn't chairs so I presumed it was only for standing purposes while you had your drinks.
"Hi Merin!" I exclaimed.
"Lucy!" She pointed the other with a red hair lady. She was much more conservative in her dressing. A black blazer for topping.
I smiled as I waved.
"And... Angie!" Kathy pointed at the brown chestnut hair lady. She was still enjoying the music without realising the others.
Kathy frowned as she tapped Angie a few times to signal there was a newcomer on the table. Angie reacted after a few seconds as she winked at me.
Turning back to Kathy as she looked helpless about her friend, Angie.
The night was quite a bomb. If I could recalled, I was bottling up with dozens of glasses. The liquor was sweet in taste. They were thick too in alcohol level. I might have went to the dance floor hitting on girls if I was not wrong. The faint memory of me circling a girl's waist was still printing on my mind.
Scratching at my head as I stared deep at the lady sleeping beside.
How ... did I ended up with Kathy?
