"Apparently, none really is in favour of your peer existence in the board" Hilbert sat on the office chair, directing his focus on my presence.




My eyes watched carefully at his words. It would be obvious by the extreme turnover of my ideas in the company since Mr. Greene's generation.




"I would be still able to get you nonetheless a management position in Solitaire if you have any wish of staying" He tilted a little forward, offering me an alternate solution for the seriously bad situation that I've got in.




I smiled, "Thanks for your solution"




My hand took over the letter which was attention to my name. Inside was an information of how the company had appreciated for the past eight years that I had spent in Solitaire and it was their greatest honour having me as a part of this big family. Nevertheless, it added on at the last conclusion that they are very much upset to have me remove from the Boards of Director as the new management would require much more experienced people to help with Hilbert in running the business well.




I coughed abit at the awkward situation. Hilbert, my boss and my ex-girlfriend's boss and chaser. Now I am being officially removed from the company with his official approval.




"You still have a chance to come back if you remained, staying and get on with excellent performance" Hilbert stood up, trying to make me see the bigger picture. Removing me wasn't a dead end from what he felt.




"But," I looked down at the white marble floor, "I have been always giving excellent results"




My egoistic character sold myself off. I was with great confidence that a job opportunity was easy to get even if I wasn't with Solitaire anymore.




"Anyway, you should know about this." Hilbert bit his lips before continued, "The person whom was behind this probably is Kathy"




"Kathy?" I widened my eyes at the unexpected person whom got me into this. Although we share an one night stand experience but it seemed like she wasn't really upset or angry of my 'irresponsible' behaviour. It would have been obvious that her intention was to get Grace's message across to me with the passion on bed.




"She was recommended," Hilbert tucked his hands in the pocket as he looked out at the window from his office "Director Yu-san said that her tremendous result is not to be foreseen. So the rest of the directors were very supportive to let her take the position of an Assistant Director for probabtional period to re-consider if she's was really suitable to be in the Boards"




I frowned at the unexpected news. It was much a news for me to digest right now.




I have to get to the bottom of this...
