-3 months later. Yeah, I know it's a far time-skip, but the main idea of the story is the break-up and afterwards. There really isn't much before that-
*Madelyn's POV*
Sitting at the computer desk late one Saturday night, I was filming an Epic Jump map with Ty, Quentin, and Ashley. Carly was silently playing Minecraft on the Xbox, and all was well, or at least I thought. Carly and I had finally gotten used to the fact our parents were Sky and Dawn and our family was Team Crafted. The days went smoothly, until this mid-June night.
Just as we had finished the first episode of the map, I was getting ready to edit it. What stopped me was loud yelling coming from the kitchen. Carly and I looked at each other, and our glares stopped as a loud BANG came from the same place. Immediately Carly threw off her mic and I left the editing up, and we went out into the kitchen to investigate.
There stood my parents, screaming at each other's faces. My dad looked like he was sweating, and my mom...was crying? Never had I seen her cry, ever, at all. Their faces were red, and yet, they were still screaming. Dad slammed his fist on the counter, and continued yelling. This was getting insane. Just then, dad raised his hand and....slapped mom!
Mom put her hand on her cheek and yelled,
"ADAM, WE'RE OVER! I'M TAKING THE GIRLS WITH ME!"
Dad turned around and started walking out of the kitchen. He noticed us and said, "You had better start packing your stuff soon."
We nodded and he walked upstairs, and mom stood in the kitchen, leaning against the counter. We walked into the kitchen and I said,
"Mom, are you okay?"
She looked at us, and said, choking through tears,
"Not really. That was the biggest argument yet and what he did to me really hurt me. I don't trust him around you girls. Go pack your stuff, I'll be up in a minute to pack mine."
We sighed, and walked up the stairs. This was it, we were leaving our dad and the team. I didn't want to, I just wanted them to make up and we all forget up this. But sadly, sometimes things just don't work out.
