*Carly's POV*
Awhile later, we had arrived home. The cats were still on our laps, sleeping soundly. We picked them up, and they stirred a bit in our arms. Once we got in the house and laid them down, they immediately jumped back up, ran through the house, and came back running like grease lighting into the wall. Never had any of us laughed so hard in a long time.
Mom went in the closet and grabbed a ball of yarn, and tossed it on the floor. The cats went batshit when they saw it. Each of them pounced on it, knocking each other off. It was so cute, and yet so hilarious. We all sat on the floor, waving yarn in their faces, and watched them run in circles, pawing at it.
Jason and Ashley came in the door, and mom asked,
"Where did you guys go?"
They stood, hand in hand, and said,
"We went out to get something to eat, that's all."
We all sat on the floor, and teased the hell of out the cats. They were so fluffy, and cute! Back at the orphanage, no pets were allowed, sadly. Thinking about the orphanage, I completely zoned out. I missed my few friends, and Mrs. Schwartz. She was really nice. I was wondering if any of them had gotten adopted, or if new kids came in. Maybe I'd ask mom to take Maddie and I there tomorrow.
