-Blue's P.O.V-

Blue's nose crinkled in disgust as he looked over the breakfast choices. Since when is porridge brown? He asked himself as he looked at the gooey substance in front of him. Is that a thing, brown porridge? He shook his head, even if 'brown porridge' is some sort of foreign breakfast cuisine there's no chance in hell he'd eat it.

His eyes skimmed the rest of the food. Fruit salad might be a safe choice. Blue was about to asked the grumpy, hair-netted food lady for a small bowl of fruit salad but he noticed something odd floating around the large fruit filled pot. His eyes narrowed. That's a pip right? Probably just a pip from an apple or orange. Wait, pips don't have legs.

Blue gulped. There's a bug in the fruit salad. A fucking bug. Suddenly, he wasn't so hungry. He smiled sheepishly at the intimidating serving lady before retreating his tray and leaving the breakfast line. Looks like he'll have to live off of water for the next couple days.

He put his grey dinner trey back on the pile and went to look for a place to sit. The canteen was filled with tables that were almost all occupied by a moody teenager. Mornings are not for everyone.

Blue searched the room until his eyes landed on a familiar bed headed boy. JJ was sat next to that Claire girl. The one with the obnoxious attitude. Blue sighed before heading over to them.

"No, football is a respected sport, Claire," JJ told her adding a small eye roll despite his smile of amusement.

Claire giggled. "It's not my fault they have so many fit guys running around."

"Doesn't matter! You don't just watch football for the men, you don't see me watching swimming competitions just to drool over women in swim wear do you?" JJ told her. Blue choked a little in shock. Damn he's good at playing straight.

Both Claire and JJ's heads turn to see Blue. JJ smiled whilst Claire just glared. "What does it want?" She asked JJ, making sure Blue heard her refer to him as 'it'.

"Claire, don't start," JJ warned her. "Take a seat, Blue," He offered. Blue sat down opposite him and Claire. To say it was awkward would be the understatement of the year. "Did you not get any food," JJ asked, looking down at the empty spot on the table where Blue's breakfast should be.

Blue shrugged. "Not hungry," he lied.  JJ nodded and took a bite from a piece of buttered toast. "Anyway," Blue tried to avoid the death glare that Claire was giving him. "We're doing map reading later, should be a bunch of bollocks," Blue said, internally groaning at the fact he had to do map reading. Blue believes that in this day and age they should be doing google map reading.

JJ chuckled at Blue's statement but Claire just shook her head. "It won't be a bunch of bollocks when you get lost  on your way to church and can't read the map," she spat bitterly.

Blue was itching to roll his eyes but instead he pushed back the urge and smiled. "That would never happen," he began. "I don't go to church."

Claire growled. "Don't talk back to me, Learn your place you blue haired little freak," She barked, leaning over the table a little so that she could get up in his face.

JJ pulled her back. "Stop it, Blue's great, he's a-," JJ stopped mid sentence, blushing slightly
" and looked at Blue. "-good friend?" He clearly tried to sound convincing but his statement sounded more like a question.

"Maybe to you but not to me," Claire said, her eye brows narrowed.

Blue sat in silence, listening to Claire bash him. "Can you leave now?" Claire asked him. Blue glanced at JJ before standing up from the plastic chair. He's completely done with her bullshit.
