-JJ P.O.V-

The morning woke JJ up with a bang, falling from the hammock and smashing into the damp dirt before a groan of aspiration leaving his throat. The condensation made the floor even more uncomfortable, the dirt clasping underneath his fingernails small pieces of vegetation clung to his cheeks.

"For fucks sake, Blue you okay?" He said with a sigh, looking to his right expecting to see the scrambled complaining Blue haired sex god but instead he saw nothing.

JJ squinted and began to look around, the earth was quiet and nobody seemed to move in sight. Perhaps Blue woke up early and didn't want JJ to either, yeah. He'll stick with that evaluation for now.
All he can do is get ready and go to breakfast for now, he can speak to Blue then.

-

JJ didn't care what he wore, only a pair of basketball shorts and a sloppy plain white t-shirt to tops. It wasn't a fashion parade so it didn't really matter. He walked towards the doors of the canteen a low buzz of voices erupting from within, his vision still slightly blurred so he didn't sense the nearing body.

"Mornin' JJ!" A loud voice cheered from his side, he let out a small yelp jumping away. But was happy to see it was only the bald headed Australian, a shit eating grin on his face. What was up with him?

"Oh, hi Angelo." JJ said numbly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Well it certainly seemed like you slept well." He said with a girly chuckle, eyeing the bare flesh on his jaw and neck.

JJ squinted again but this time in confusion." What?"

Angelo heartfully chuckled, "ya didn't hold back when I said you could screw like bunnies did ya?"

It was then it clicked and JJ began to scramble at his shirt, hiding the hickory dotted skin carefully around his neck the best he could. "I-uh, um. It's not what it looks like?" JJ said sheepishly, avoiding eye contact with the camp ranger who only continued to laugh.

"Good man! She must've been really careful too, in fact that one in your neck is perfectly symmetrical to the opposite one... I like it when things are clean and balanced."

Oookay can this guy get any weirder.
"Haha-yeah okay bye!" JJ said in a beat scampering toward the door leaving Angelo to what ever... Strange things he was going to do?

JJ walked into the canteen, and impulsively began searching for the blueberry head, he wasn't really hard to miss either. He was sitting alone, in the back of the room, looking rather glumly down into his cereal as if he were telling it his depressing secrets.

JJ was just about to make a move when a skinny hand grasped his forearm, he turned to see the red face of Claire, fire in her eyes and her mouth thinned into a line.

"No way, sir! You're sitting with me, no questions asked," she said without missing a beat, she immediately began to drag JJ away from approaching Blue before he could even compromise.

"Claire, I needed to talk to someone," he said adding a sad sigh to make her feel as though he didn't want to leave.

Claire shook her head and looked down. "Lately I've been feeling so left out, you never want to hang out with me anymore, you keep pushing me aside to be with Blue pubes and his ugly eyed little sidekick," she took in a deep breath. "It hurts to not feel wanted, all I want is to spent this last half day with you, at least ride with me on the bus," Claire's eyes had glossed over and she as though she was about to burst into tears. JJ wasn't good with dealing with the waterworks.

JJ felt instantly guilty. "Okay, I'll hang out with you today."

Claire smiled and clapped her hands. "Yay!" She pulled him into a hug. "Thank you, JJ."

-

JJ hadn't had the chance to talk to Blue yet. He thought he'd maybe get the chance to wiggle away from Claire during a game of capture the flag but they started ages ago and Claire hadn't left his side the whole time. "JJ, the opposite team has the flag! Stop daydreaming and pay attention!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him behind a tree.

"Claire, it's just capture the flag," he groaned.

She shot him daggers. "But it's not just capture the flag is it? It's a game and I like to win games, you got that?"

He nodded in reply and kept his mouth shut. Claire was competitive, he wasn't sure if that was good things about her or a bad thing. He followed Claire as she ran. JJ watched her legs as they darted to the person with the flag. Her hair was flying all about the place, in her mouth, in her eyes. She didn't seem to care though. She had her heart set on getting that flag.

JJ jogged behind her and as he came over he noticed the persons holding the flag. Blue. If Claire gets a hold of him she will beat him black and blue until she gets that flag.

Something clicked in JJ and his feet began to move at lightening speed. His hand extended as he tried to grab Claire and pull her back before she could capture Blue, who unfortunately runs like a tortoise.

"Fuck!" Blue cursed as he was body slammed to the ground by Claire. JJ drew his hand back. Claire had an evil grin on her face and she bent down and picked up the flag. She left Blue in a heap on the floor. His back covered in mud and his elbows and hands covered in scratched and small splotches of blood.

The sight angered JJ. In all of his life he had never wanted to inflict harm onto anyone but the though of him throwing Claire to the floor like she'd done to Blue made him feel revenged. He shook his head. Trying to rid the malicious thought from his mind.

"Are you okay?" JJ bent down the Blue's level and looked at him in the eyes.

Blue turned his head. "I'm fine."

"No you're not," JJ stood up and held his hand out for Blue but He ignored it.

"I said I'm fine, now leave me the hell alone," Blue pushed himself off of the ground and placed his hand over once of his open cuts.

The hurt must have shown on JJ's face because Blue didn't seem to be able to look at him. Blue sighed and walked away. JJ stood there aghast.
