“Aria!!! Aria!!!” sigaw ni Drake habang papasok ito sa bahay na tinutuluyan nila. They rented a house in that city called Bercrux and it's all thanks to Earl’s money. Aria realized that human money is useless in this world maging ang dalang pera ni Zach. Mabuti na lang at may dalang pera si Earl na tanggap nmn sa mundong ito. Maybe because this world and his world are both magical worlds in origin.
“Why are you yelling Drake? Is there trouble?” tanong niya while she is cleaning her guns.
“It’s Earl.” anito in between labored breathing.
Napukaw din nito ang atensyon ni Zach na kasalukuyang nasa sanga ng puno malapit sa bintana. At sa lakas ng pandinig nito ay rinig nito ang mga iyon. Kaya agad nakapunta sa nagrereport na si Drake.
“He’s in trouble.”
Sa sinabing iyon ay nagkatinginan muna siya at si Zach then mabilis silang umalis sa lugar na iyon bitbit si Drake na hinahabol pa din ang paghinga.
“What happened Drake?” asked Aria habang lumilipad sila.
“He was just asking kung saan ang daan papuntang Winterville. Iyon kasi ang pangalan ng lugar kung saan nakatira si Chantele. But none of us are taking that question seriously. Then suddenly officials of this land captured Earl and he’s now in the municipal hall for questioning!”
“I don’t get it! Why are they so furious about that?” kunot noong ani Aria.
“Hmmm… it seems like they are in war with that Winterville.” Pagaanalyze naman ni zach.
“Yeah… but let’s think about it later. Right now we have to save Earl.” nagaalalang ani Aria. At mas binilisan pa ang paglipad. She promised to herself na hindi na sila mababawasan pa and she will do anything to keep that promise.
Samantala hindi nya napansin ang tila worried at guilty na mukha ni Drake. Only Zach noticed it.
PLACE: Municipal Hall of the City of Bercrux
“Why are you asking a route on how to go to that place?” tanong ng isang fairy no animo pinaka leader ng lugar. He is Minister Lumholtz the one running the whole city of Bercrux.
“My friend lives there I have to go there.”
“And this friend of yours… what is her name?”
“Why do you care? Just tell me the way to go there!” persistent na tanong ni Earl.
Lahat ng tao doon sa room na iyon ay nagbulungan. Earl looks at all of them. What’s the problem of these people? Why does it look like he made a grave mistake asking for the direction? Is it really a big deal in this city?
“Well I assume that you are aware how dangerous that City is. It might kill you just by going out there! And as a minister in this city I will not allow you to go there!”
Napahinto si Earl sa pagsagot. Chantele’s place is dangerous? How could that be?
“Fairies living there are as dangerous as hell! What possess you to go there young man?” tanong ulit sa kanya ni Minister Lumholtz
“My friend is not wicked!” giit na wika ni Earl.
“Stop it! If you continue to be like this I can consider you as a threat to this city. You will be locked down on the underground cell for the rest of your life until you vowed to never ever go to that place ever again!!” makapangyarihang wika ng Minister.
Lalong lumakas ang bulungan sa loob ng hearing hall.
“Please… don’t do that. My friend needs me. Just tell me the way to go there!” galit pero puno ng pagkokontrol na wika ni Earl. He’s preventing his anger to go to a higher level dahil baka hindi sya makapagpigil at sunugin nya ang buong lugar mapaamin lamang ito on how to go to Winterville.
