“Holy Crap!” mahinang bulong ni Earl when he finally saw Zach’s face without wearing black mask.
Chantele crossed her arms and confused na nagsalita“El, since when that the crap became Holy?"
"Since now Chantele." puno ng unbelief na wika ni Earl.
"Well that is the proof you're looking for El.” she said without any sight of shock in her cute flat affect face.
Samantala halos animo ay nabuhusan ng sandamakmak na suka ang buong mukha ni Earl. Alright he gets it, and he knows that this vampire could possibly be Zach. But he didn’t expect na totoo pala talaga. And on that moment hindi nya alam ang irereact nya.
“What’s happening?” takang taka namang tanong ni Zach sa dalawa. “And why does Earl’s face looks like he’s seen a ghost?”
Chantele sighs before talking. “Because he’s seeing a ghost right now, tell me Zach, did you really don’t remember anything?”
Naguguluhang nagsalita si Zach. “Remember what?” then biglang nitong narealize na ipinagpipilitan na naman ng mga ito na sya ang dating Zach na kaibigan ng mga ito. “Guys…if you’re talking about your friend Zach I really am not him. And base on Drake’s description about that person… it’s impossible na ako yun because that vampire is a Saint! I can’t be a Saint… I killed many people and counting… so it’s very impossible.”
“Well Zach killed many people too… but those are bad people. Hmmm… why does it sound to me that your being defensive.” Nagdududang ani Chantele. Naguguluhan naman syang tiningnan lang ni Zach.
“Tell me pare, how could you possibly be alive? And… how come you don’t remember anything?”
Zach just sighed and said. “Guys, I know how hard you miss you former friend but he’s not me. And I don’t remember anything because I don’t have anything to remember. I’m not you old friend.”
Sasagot pa sana si Earl ng biglang dumating si Aria. She didn’t notice that Zach isn’t wearing his mask dahil nakatalikod ito sa kanya.
“Coffee everyone? This is perfect for this morning.” nakangiti nyang wika sa mga ito. Pero unti-unting nawala ang ngiti nya when Zach turns around. Automatic syang napahinto at parang namanhid ang buong katwana nya kaya naman nabitawan nya ang hawak na tray ng kape.
“She’s in the state of ‘pinch me or am I dead’ part. She’s really shocked.” Bulong ni Chantele kay Earl.
“I don’t think she can take this.” Earl whispered back.
“Hmmm… I wonder what she is going to do now.”
“20 khon, she’s gonna run away.” Ani Earl habang pinapanood ang animo ay slow motion na pagkakashock ni Aria.
“Nah… I doubt it. She’s tough! She will take this like a girl! Fine 20 khon.” Nakangitig ani Chantele at tuluyan na silang nanood sa dalawa.
“Oh God, for the love of all saints…” di makapaniwalang ani Zach sa reaksyon ni Aria. “…Tell me Aria, do I really look like your dead boyfriend?” naguguluhang tanong ni Zach sa kanya. Hindi naman sya makaimik. It feels like maging ang sarili nyang dila ay pinagtaksilan na sya. She doesn’t know what to say or what to do. Isa lamang ang tila nagfufunction sa kanya ngayon. And that is her eyes. She can’t take off her eyes in him. Dahil pilit nyang kinukumbinsi ang sarili na hindi ito si Zach pero kahit saang anggulo nya tingnan ay ito talaga si Zach! Why? Why did he hide the truth to her? For the past seven years she keeps on blaming herself for his death but now he’s alive?? Hindi ba alam nito how her life became miserable feeling guilty every day? Hindi ba nito alam how she wished to die too para lang makita ito sa kabilang buhay? Hindi ba nito alam how much she missed him every day? Sino ito para paglaruan ang damdamin nya ng ganoon? And now he’s standing here in front of her as if wala itong nagawang kasalanan. As if not remembering anything at all? HOW COULD HE?!!
