Sydney's POVI sat there a moment more before the door opened and Jared appeared.
"Your father said to get you ready,"
I looked at him confused. What was I getting ready for?
"We have to go back to the states. Dear Jesus are all females this dumb?" He leaned against the door frame and picked at his teeth with a tooth pick.
"Are all macho male's dick as small as their egos?" I stood up and walked towards the door until he stood up, blocking my way out.
He grabbed my forearm and pulled me to his chest, leaning down I could feel his hot breath on my ear. "How about you bend over and tell me how small it feels."
I grinned and pulled back, running my fingertips up his arm I could feel his skin burn under my touch. I stopped when I reached his hair and tugged on it causing him to growl. That let me knew that I had him right where I wanted him.
"That's if you can find it," I pulled away from him and began to walk away only to be tugged back into his hard chest.
He thrusted his hips into my ass and I could feel it. I felt my cheeks heat up as he slipped his arm around my waist and nuzzled his face into my neck. "I swear if you weren't taken I'd make that pretty chocolate ass mine."
I gasped and pulled away from him. I turned around to see him grinning before he winked and walked away.
I stood there for a second before I heard a chuckle.
"So Jared and you, huh?" I turned around to see Valentine and furrowed my eyebrows.
"I thought you were apart of the Italian mafia?"
He shook his head and came to wrap his arms around me. " Well I couldn't tell you that I was apart of your father's gang. He'd kill me, literally."
I looked at my tattoo than looked up at him. "You knew the pain I was going through, the hurt, and you still held back this information. You even ran away from me for a while..."
"Cara..." he reached out to touch my cheek but I moved away and left out the room.
This is what I was talking about. People are lying to me and have been for a while.
I walked around for a while before I stumbled across a pair of stairs and walked down them. I soon found myself in the hall that lead to the kitchen, living room, and other places.
I turned to walk into the kitchen only to bump into someone. A squeak came out of their mouth as they fell to the floor. I was surprised to see it was a girl, but not any girl. She looked so familiar.
She was short and was fair skinned compared to my dark skin. She had big curly hair that was dyed blonde and complimented the freckles on her face. She had light brown eyes like me, but blue specks like...
"Who are you?" She yelled at me and I laughed.
"Little girl, who are you? Please know that I've stomped enough females. I don't mind adding one more to my list," I began to put my hair up and looked at her.
She scoffed and began to pull her hair back than snatched her earrings off. "How you gonna come into my house and disrespect me? Do you know who my father is? He owns this place."
"What?" I knew it. From the blue specks. I knew it.
She grinned up at me and stuck her manicured finger into my chest. "That's what I thought heffier. Now.."
Oh, HELL NO. Did this little girl just call me a heffier?
I quickly grabbed her finger and bent it back before sliding my hand to her wrist and twisting it, bending it back behind her back she let out a scream causing people to come running towards us.
"Sydney! Let go of her!" Dad came running up to us and practically tore me away from her.
"Daddy. She hurt me... kill her..." She fell into his chest and began to pout and sob dramatically.
I looked at him hurt... He dared to have another daughter when he hid from his oldest daughter. The daughter that loved him and he lied to her.
"Sydney. Tweety bird... this is your.."
I put my hand up as I didn't want to hear the words I already knew.
"So you're telling me. You laid up with this hoes' mother and had her, but you couldn't take care of my brother and I," I screamed at him and gripped onto the counter.
His nostrils flared for a moment and he let go of whatever her name is and walked to me. "Don't you dare speak to me like that. I am your Father and you WILL respect me in my house."
I looked down at my feet and rolled my tongue against the inside of my bottom lip. Looking up at him and laughing, I backed away while nodding.
"You're right. This is your house and she's your daughter and I'm the child that you ran away from. But it's okay, because I'm grown and I have kids that I promise I wouldn't leave. So if you'll excuse me," I walked out the kitchen and to what seem to be the front door.
