(3) No I am not banging the janitor. Actually...

Once my alarm went off on me in the morning, I knew it was going to be a bad day. I had that feeling in my gut, saying 'Don't go to school.' Although, do I ever listen to myself? No.

This is why I, Katie Hursh, am in the janitor's closet, puking my heart out. Not literally though. That'd just be gross. And extremely horrifying. Sorry; I have a tendency to ramble.

I'm smooth like that.

Once I was done, I realized that class had already started. Not only that, but my first period class with Mrs. Hayfur. She's probably the strictest teacher in the entire school and there's no chance she would let me in the class after the late bell had already rang. I was also definitely not going to try to convince to let me in the class because:

1. It's futile, really.

2. I'm going to end up embarrassing myself

And,

3. I know that if she refuses, I would end up crying.

As a bonus, I have really bad breath right now.

Therefore, I, Katie Hursh, will unintentionally be skipping class. Maybe I should just leave for the whole day. I mean, if Mrs. Hayfur found out that I didn't attend her class but was at school, I would never hear the end of it. Also, I'd rather not spend my Tuesday afternoon hung-over and in detention. Thus, I decide that I should probably leave.

Slowly, I put my ear to the door of the janitor's closet, listening for any footsteps or voices. What? I didn't need anybody thinking I was banging the janitor.

After hearing nothing, I slowly opened the door. I hastily got out, not wanting to be given any funny looks.

"Katie." I heard a voice from down the hall hiss. Rexie.

I turned my head quickly to the direction of her voice. I spotted her head peeking out from Mrs. Hayfur's room and I saw her make a 'come here' sign with her hands. A little surprised, I hurried up and was at the door before I knew it.

"Mrs. Hayfur's not here yet. Just come sit and nobody will know." A sly grin appeared on her face and I felt like jumping up and down with excitement.

You see, I'm a good kid; I've never skipped class, never been late, never misbehaved, never had a detention and never not handed my work in immaculately. That's just the way I was. I'm a perfectionist and proud of it.

At the moment, I could not be more glad that I had my book-bag with me. Thus, I took my seat hastily and thanked Rexie a million times over. She really saved my ass this time.

That's when I realized there was somebody sitting beside me. Nobody sits beside me; we all have assigned seating and I was told I get to sit alone. Turning my head to my left, I realized Cameron was the one assigned beside me. Just my luck.

I caught Rexie's eye and gave her a 'save me' look. She just mouthed the word 'sorry.'

Damn.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Cameron looked at me. Again his piercing eyes seemed to be burning holes through me as we speak, leaving me in awe.

His eyes are the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

His hair looks so silky and I feel the urge to run my hands through it.

His lips look so inviting.

His body was obviously sculpted by the gods themselves.

Shut the fuck up, inner voice.

Cameron was sporting a dark blue V-neck which he paired with dark jeans . His hair didn't even look combed; it looked like he had just rolled out of bed and came to school. But then again, it looked good like that.
