**Chapter 18**
I won't normally be leaving these messages in the beginnings of my chapters of OUAS, although, this time I am.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I've been told by a certain person that my story has been going downhill lately. She had also continued to tell me that I was becoming a bit repetitive and as a writer, I'm a bit concerned that everybody else thinks this way as well.
Right now in OUAS, it's the 'calm before the storm.' Lots of things will be going down soon, one of which will blow your minds. I will be dropping a few hints here and there, but I'll try not to make it too obvious.
I've also been told by the same person that all of my characters have been becoming see-through. I'm not sure if the rest of you lot think this way, but if you do, I'm sorry. I'm still a minor and new to writing a teenage story, so please just bear with me.
Criticism is OKAY. I WON'T MIND IF YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK. I WON'T WANT TO KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP. NOR WILL I BLOCK YOU OR WHATEVER ELSE ANYBODY IS WORRIED ABOUT. In fact, I'll be delighted to hear!

Realizing the awkward predicament I was currently involved in, I tried to back away as quickly as I could from Cameron. I stumbled over my foot and put my hands on Cameron's chest to steady myself, although I had been aiming for his shoulders. Instead of steadying myself as I'd hoped, I managed to somehow push both Cameron and I backwards. We both went tumbling back. Coincidentally we didn't fall far away from each other, as there wasn't much room to begin with.
Instead of falling onto the hard ground like I'd expected, a mop bucket broke my fall. At that moment, I had realized how I would much rather fall butt first onto the ground, instead of a soapy water filled bucket with a raggedy mop inside of it. Cleary, the mop had seen better days. It looked even worse than a Sheep dog and those things are absolutely horrendous. I landed with a loud splash with a yelp.
"Fuck." I heard Cameron curse.
I splashed my hands around in the bucket, trying to find a handhold. I finally found one and pushed myself up and forwards. What I didn't realize was that I had put too much strength into my push. I sent myself flying. I hurtled through the air, before landing on something with a yelp. Or a somebody, rather. Cameron, to be precise.
"Get the hell off of me, you psychotic bitch." He hissed, shoving me. I quickly got up, somehow finding a proper spot to stand.I put my hand on my hips.
"Excuse me? Save your attitude for somebody else because I am done with your rudeness." I bit back, not able to think straight.
"Attitude? Oh, so I'm supposed to let people who abuse me sit on my lap now without even batting a fucking eye?" He glared down at me and I returned the nasty favour.
He quickly got up from the floor, still keeping his gaze on me. I swallowed hard. Okay, so maybe confrontation wasn't the best idea I'd ever had. Although, it wasn't the worst. The worst decision I'd made haunted me to this very day. Nothing could beat it, I was sure.
The dim light bulb flickered, indicating that the light was about to go out. Cameron continued.
"Who do you think you are, always acting so high and mighty? You're no better than me. You're just a waste of my time, so do me a favour and leave me the fuck alone." He clenched and unclenched his jaw, looking just about ready to pounce.
My jaw went slack at his choice of words. Ironically, I had been told the same thing a long while ago, by my own parents. I had been fifteen then. My parents, or rather, the lack of them, has always been a touchy subject for me. They had told their own daughter that she was a worthless, waste of space that meant nothing to them. Absolutely no damn thing.
