~Chapter Seven~

•Percy P.O.V•

With a start I woke up, remembering what happened yesterday. I quickly changed and started running to the Athena cabin, I knocked on the door and someone asked "Who was knocking on the door so early."

"It's me," I replied. "Percy Jackson, I have come to talk to Annabeth." I heard whispering behind the door, and then someone opening the door. Annabeth slowly walks out of her cabin, her hair was messy as if someone had ruffled it up and she had bags under her eyes.

"Percy come with me," she said while walking into the training area. Behind us, another Athena kid left the cabin and ran off in a diffrent direction.

"I have to tell you something, I know about what Marlin did with his friends to the other campers, and to be completely honest, I wasn't affected and I don't mind what they did, because now, I can finally say what I have been truly thinking the last few years. For one, I don't love you, it was just a way to get some of my stolen fame back, and for two, I really like Marlin." She said her voice changing from hate and something that sounded to something similar to affection.

"What?" I said promptly, trying to understand what she was saying. "I-I thought you loved me..." I continued. "And out of all people, you like Marlin?"

She smirked. "Poor Percy Jackson, getting betrayed by his friends." She said as she walked around a bit, acting sad. Suddenly she perched up. "Oh wait! You never had friends now did you?"

"The seven are not under this spell," she went on, "because we always hated you, always in the one spotlight, the leader, the best fighter and that's why we hate you. You suck up all the honor, and the worst is, you don't even try."

Behind Annabeth five other figures slowly walked out of the shaddows appeared, becoming more and more clear with each step, and my heart broke more and more with every step they took towards us.

The rest of the seven come in and draw their weapons. "We give you five minutes to go away from camp half-blood, then if we find you near here," she said "We will kill you. Slowly."

She smiles cruelly, and with that I run away as far and as fast as possible, knowing that it wasn't a joke. Chiron would scold them, and give them a punishment for sure, but after last night, after what he said, I wasn't sure how much I was needed anymore.

"All your friends never where your friends! All they needed was fame, power, glory and so on! No one has ever liked you Perseus! You have no friends!"

The words hit me hard. I hadn't expected this all to escalate quickly. I didn't want to leave the place I once called home, and I certainly didn't want to leave like this.

I kept on running till my feet couldn't carry me and further until I fell down due to tiredness and passed out.
