Harry’s POV:
Last night Stella and I had a great night. We spent time just the two of us doing absolutely nothing. That’s what I enjoy the most, just being with her. We don’t need to go out, or do crazy things together to have fun. We just need to be together. We talked about her birthday; I need to make sure I make it one for her to remember forever. I look to my left and see my beautiful girlfriend fast asleep. Her long, thick lashes are resting shut. I reach over and wrap my arms around her and pull her close to me again. “Harry?” she whispers softly. “Sh baby, go back to sleep. It’s still early.” I tell her as I kiss her temple. It’s only seven in the morning; we have nothing major to do today so we don’t need to be up this early. She makes a sound and then shuts her eyes again. I do the same.
Stella’s POV:
I wake up a few hours later and Harry isn’t beside me. That explains the lack of warmth in the bed. Where is Harry? I roll over on my side to check the time. “Harry?” I call out. No answer. I pull the covers and wrap them around me, it’s freezing! I walk into the bathroom and splash warm water on my face. When I walk back into the room Harry is sitting on the bed fully dressed. “Where are you going?” I ask him. “Morning to you too Stella.” he laughs. “We are going for breakfast with the hung over losers.” he jokes. “We are? Are they even up yet?” I ask him. “Barely, but they need food.” Harry says and I nod in agreement. “Okay, give me 10 minutes.” I tell him. He nods and leaves the room. I pull on a pair of light wash distressed shorts, a white t-shirt and I tie a plaid shirt around my waist. I slip my feet into my white converse, tie my hair into a bun and grab my Ray Bans.
Once I’m done getting ready I head out to meet Harry in the kitchen. Everyone is slowly coming out of their bedrooms. “Where’s Cristina?” I ask Niall. “She’s getting ready, but she’s having a hard time. You better go in there and help her.” he says as he slides his sunglasses on his face. Everyone I have seen so far has their eyes covered with large shades. I am so thankful that Harry and I stayed in last night. I roll my eyes and walk into Cristina and Niall’s room. “Sti?” I call out. “Mmm.” she mumbles. I take in her appearance. Her eyes are bloodshot, she is in sweats and a hoodie and her hair is a mess of tangles. I burst out laughing. “It’s not funny.” she says tossing a pillow at me. “It is actually.” I tell her laughing. “Just help me okay? I’m not going anywhere looking like this!” she pouts. “And who’s fault is that?” I ask her. “Are you going to help or just scold me.” she says irritated. “I’m helping.” I answer and force her to sit on the bed. I grab a brush and pull it through the mess of tangles on her head. “Ow Stella!” Cristina whines. “It’s not my fault you went too hard last night.” I joke and she rolls her eyes. I braid it to the side once all the knots are out. “Okay, come with me.” I tell her grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the bathroom. I grab a washcloth, wet it and wipe her face. Next I apply a light powder all over her face. Then I grab a pink lip gloss and swipe it across her lips. I walk over to her closet and pull out a pair of black leggings and an oversized, off the shoulder gray sweater. She puts the clothes on and I hand her a pair of big sunglasses and her purse. She slips her feet into a pair of nude sandals and we are good to go. “There, good as new.” I tell her and she hits me. “Your welcome, geez.” I tell her and she ignores me as we walk out of the room. “Wow Stella, you’re a miracle worker, what a transformation!” Niall jokes to his girlfriend. “Shut up Niall.” Cristina says hitting him in the stomach. “Ou she’s in the ‘don’t mess with me’ stage of her hang over right now.” Niall tells us and we all laugh. “Alex, how are you feeling?” I ask him. “I’m fine, I wasn’t that drunk.” he says as we head out towards the car. “Good, everyone else seems to be a disaster.” I point out.
Once we are seated a quiet little breakfast diner, Louis speaks his first words all morning. “What the hell.” he says and everyone laughs. “Where did you guys go last night? I haven’t seen you boys like this for a while.” Harry says laughing. “You’re one to talk Harry, remember the time when-“ Louis begins and Harry cuts him off. “Louis.” Harry says sternly. “Sorry mate.” Louis apologizes. “Remember what time?” I ask Louis. Harry shoots him a look and Louis changes the subject. “We went to some club and we met Ed there and he took us to this other place and everything went downhill from there.” Louis continued. I look at Harry and he is fidgeting in his seat. “Remember what Harry.” I ask. “Nothing Stella, he doesn’t know what he was saying.” Harry tells me intertwining our fingers together. “Harry, what happened?” I ask him again, not believing a word he said. “Nothing baby, I promise.” he says kissing the top of my hand. “Nothing for you to worry about.” he repeats and I pull my hand away. I don’t believe him but I’m not going to argue him here.
