When we got to the dance studio Eleanor and Cristina left to go grab a coffee. Danielle and I were the only ones in the studio. I had all my dances memorized pretty much. I just need to choreograph two more but I cant do that until I release my other singles. After we ran through 'Tonight' and 'Fall For You' a few times, Danielle and I sat down in the middle of the dance room. "How is everything going with you and Harry? I heard about that Nick guy, I feel like I haven't talked to you in forever!" Danielle said wiping the sweat from her forehead. "I know, I've missed you. Well things between Nick and I didn't really work out so I ended it with him earlier today, and as for Harry and I, right now we are working on our friendship." I said sounding confident. "Friendship? You and Harry? Friendship?" she questioned biting her lip trying not to laugh. "Yes friendship, why is that so funny?" I asked as Danielle burst out laughing. "It's not I just don't think you and Harry can be friends. You guys were literally made for each other and I don't think being friends is an option for you two." Danielle explained. "Well for your information, Harry and I are hanging out after dinner tonight just the two of us as friends." I told her. "Good luck with that, I'm sure you two will do some very 'friendly' things." she said winking at me. I just rolled my eyes at her as Eleanor and Cristina walked in. "You girls ready to go?" El asked us. "Yup, let me just change. I will meet you guys at the car." I said tossing Cristina my keys. I walked over to the bathroom and changed into a pair of black jeans and a white, silk, loose fitting tank top with thin straps. I slipped my feet into some black and gold sandals and I pulled my hair into a loose French braid. I splashed water on my face and smeared lip balm onto my lips. I put all my clothes into my gym bag and headed out towards the car waving to the lady who owned the dance center. "You are improving everyday Stella! Good work!" she said as I walked by. I smiled and said "Thanks! I hope so!" When I got the car the girls were all seated inside and as soon as I opened my door the girls stopped talking. "What?" I asked suspiciously. "Oh nothing" Eleanor said focusing her gaze out the window. She was seated in the passenger seat beside me and Cristina and Danielle were in the back. I raised an eyebrow at them and pulled out of the parking lot. When we got to the Chinese restaurant we all chatted a mile a minute. It feels like forever since the last time we were together and even now we are still missing Perrie who is working on her new album. We talked about a bunch of random things that included tour details, Cristina and Niall, Danielle and Liam, Louis and Eleanor. We managed to avoid the whole Harry and Stella topic for a majority of the night until it was time to go back home. When we got in the car I checked my phone before pulling out of the parking lot. There was a text from Harry.
From: Harry:
Hey Stel, hope we are still on for tonight. When will you be home?
I sent him a quick reply.
To: Harry:
Of course we are. On our way home now should be there in 10. See you soon.
I tucked my phone into my purse and ignored the stares from the three girls. When we got back to the condo, Harry was already inside waiting for me. How did he get in without a key? "I used Niall's key to get in." Harry said answering my thought. "Hi" I said smiling. He was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a plaid button down top with enough of the buttons undone that I could see the top of his butterfly tattoo. My eyes were mentally undressing him. He so did this on purpose. I looked up at his eyes and he smirked. Well this is a great start to our friendship. I rolled my eyes at him and walked into my room to grab a cardigan. "Ready?" Harry asked as his hand grazed my elbow. I nodded because I know that if I try to speak I will just confuse my words. I don't know why, but Harry's touch does something to me. "I will have her home by midnight." Harry joked speaking to the girls. They laughed and Danielle responded "Don't have too much fun." Harry winked at her and pulled my hand out the door. "You look beautiful as always Stella." he said as we walked around the corner. "Thanks, you don't look so bad either" I said blushing. "Where exactly are you taking me?" I asked as we walked down a dark street. "You'll see." Harry said resting his hand on the small of my back. I let out a breath. "Everything's always a surprise with you huh" I said feeling much more relieved as I began to see street lights. "Always." Harry replied. We kept walking until we reached a small lake surrounded by street lights and park benches. We were the only two people here right now. We sat down on one of the benches and Harry began to speak. "Stella I truly am sorry for everything that I've done to you." he apologized. "Yeah, well I'm glad its over with, I missed you Harry. And I'm sorry too, for not giving you a chance to explain yourself. I have just been through a lot with boys in the past and I just didn't want to let myself feel that way again so I just pushed you away. I'm sorry." I said not meeting his gaze. "Hey, its okay. You had every right to be mad at me. I just want you to know that I will never hurt you again. It's over with now so we can move past it." he said squeezing my thigh. For some reason, no matter what has happened between Harry and I, I believe him when he said that he wouldn't hurt me again. "Good cause if you do, I may have to punch you." I said winking at him. I feels good to be able to talk to Harry again. It's been so long since we even saw each other and now it feels as though nothing changed between us. Although now we are just friends. "So, Niall is taking Cristina to London and then he is coming with us back to Toronto before the tour starts" I said. "Yeah, I guess they are pretty serious." Harry said looking away from me. I nodded and changed the subject. I get the feeling that he doesn't want to talk about that. "It's so beautiful here, how did you find this place?" I asked him staring out to the lake. "I don't know, I had a lot of free time this past month." Harry said tossing a rock into the water. Harry and I had an amazing night. It is so easy to talk to him and even though we are just friends, I feel as though I could rely on him with anything. He said so himself. "Stel, if you ever need anything, and I mean anything, don't think that just because we are just friends that I won't be there for you like I used to. You can come to me about anything." Harry promised. When he dropped me off in front of my condo we just looked at each other awkwardly. In the past this is where we would kiss and I would ask him to stay with me. Now he just wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. When we released I stood up on mu tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. His smile grew larger and he walked towards his condo. When I opened the door I found the three girls asleep on the couch. They were so cute. They were all cuddled up on the large couch with the TV flickering in front of them. I pulled a blanket over them and headed to my room. I got into my pajamas and climbed into my bed. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through Twitter. There was a tweet from Harry that read "Things are back to normal again. I missed you." could it be about us? I slowly started to shut my eyes when I felt my phone vibrate in my hands.
