It's Not So Easy

chapter 6

I know she dated Axl before, and they broke up because she caught him cheating on her. I know it's a pretty shitty thing to date your friends ex girlfriend, but I really like her. I've never felt this way about a girl before.

we've been hanging out a lot lately, and I'm glad we haven't done anything sexual yet. it makes everything better because we have stuff to looks forward to, and we aren't rushing into things.

today is my birthday, and tomorrow is Axls so we're going out tomorrow night to celebrate. hopefully Alicia will be able to come without Axl and Izzy suspecting anything because they're the only ones who don't know. The guys are still friends with Jen and Alicia despite what happened. my cover story will be that Slash invited them, no one will think anything of that.

"guys we have no food in this house. all we have is vodka, Jack Daniels, Nightrain, beer, and Jim Beam." Axl says as he looks in the refrigerator. "then we should go grocery shopping." Slash says. we haven't been grocery shopping the whole like 2 months we've lived here. "then let's go." Axl says as he walks out the door. we all follow.

we arrive at the grocery store and we have no idea what do get, so we all just start throwing shit into the buggy. when we check out the total is 63 dollars so we all chip in.

we get back to the place and they all make me put the food up so I just throw shit in the refrigerator, and the cabinets. I guess that's what you do.

when the phone rings I'm always the first to get it because it could be Alicia and I don't want Axl thinking she's calling here for him. So I answer the phone and sure enough, it's Alicia. I tell the guys to turn down the AC/DC, but they don't so I try my best to make out what she says. she says something along the lines of "I'll be able to make it for your birthday celebration tomorrow." I can also hear a little giggle. I tell her that's amazing and that I'll see her then.

I yell at slash to come over to the kitchen so I can talk to him without anyone hearing. "Alicia said she can come tomorrow, but when her and Jen come, you and Steven invited them. not me okay?" he says okay and goes back to the kitchen. then I tell Steven the same thing.

it's getting pretty late, all we've done is watch MTV, eat, and play beer pong. pretty much all we ever do. but I'm tired. the apartment has a limited amount of beds so one of us end up sharing a bed with someone, unless someone passes out on the couch. So looks like I'm rooming with Slash tonight.

I lay down, think about Alicia, and fall asleep
