It's Not So Easy

Chapter 14

"Alicia, baby wake up." I whisper softly into her ear.

"I don't wanna!" she says as she puts the covers over her face.

"we have a big day ahead of us baby, so get up and get ready the doctors appointment is in 2 hours." I say.

"okay fine." Alicia says in a grumpy voice.

I get up, put on what I usually do. Today I choose a Rolling Stones shirt, some dark jeans, and my black leather boots.

Alicia puts on one of my Ramones shirts, jeans, and black converse.

"you look great baby!" i say with a smile.

"thanks Duff, but I look like shit! I'm not even doing my makeup or hair." she says as she puts her hair into a low ponytail.

"you always look great babygirl, no matter what."

"I love you! let's go see if we're having a baby!" she says as she jumps up to give me a kiss on the cheek, and runs to the door.

"okay I'm coming, just let me give Slash a call, because I have to tell him." I say as I pick up the phone.

"well alright, just hurry." she says with her hand placed on the doorknob anxious to leave.

"hey, uhh Slash! well we think Alicia may be pregnant so we're going to see if she is. I'll let you know after, just please don't tell any of the other guys! okay?"

"what the fuck man! if you say so!"

"okay thanks, bye!" I say as I slam the phone down.

"let's go!" I yell.

we arrive at the doctors office and take our seats in the waiting room.

a couple of people were looking at me strange. maybe they recognized me from Guns N' Roses, or maybe it's just weird for a man to wear leather in a baby place.

"Alicia Davis, and Duff Mckagan come on back!" a nurse said.

Alicia and I get into our room. she lays down on a table, and I set in a chair beside her.

"Duff, I'm scared." Alicia says as she turns her head towards me.

"why baby? you know I'm always gonna be here. if you are pregnant then I'll do exactly what I said. I'll be there for you and our baby and do anything that needs to be done. if not, I'll still be here. I love you, and there's nothing to be afraid of." I say as I grab her hand.

she looks at me and says "I love you so much Duff, I'm thankful I have you."

right after she says that the doctor walks in.

"alright! let's see if you're having a baby!"

we both smile.

"so tell me about yourselves." the doctor says as he sets on his spinny chair.

"well my name is Duff, and I'm in a band called Guns N' Roses."

the doctor gasps. "no way! I heard you guys on the radio! what do you do in the band if you don't mind me asking?"

"I'm the bassist." I say as I smile.

"that's so cool! what about you?" he says pointing to Alicia.

"well my name is Alicia, I'm 19, and I do some modeling for different clothing stores."

"again, so cool! I've never had famous people in my office before." he says as he squirts the gel on Alicia's stomach.

he then turns on the monitor and starts to rub the little thingy around on her stomach.

"well it looks like you......."
