This story takes place in the late 1980s when Duff Mckagan of Guns N' Roses meets, and falls in love with young Alicia davis. Will he ignore the fact that she is his best friend, Axl Rose's ex and make his dreams come true?
A/N : above is an edit of Duff and Alicia (Brooke Shields) that I made. it's not the best but I had to share it!! this chapter is kinda boring, but I'm so excited to write the next one. enjoy!:)
Alicia and I wake up exactly like we fell asleep. our wastes together, with my arm around her.
"Alicia, wake up sweetie."
"I'm awake Duffy." she says, turning around.
we lay on the couch, awake, for about 10 minutes.
"AHH, Duff put me down!!" Alicia screams.
"we'd never get up if I didn't do this!" I shout.
after picking Alicia up off of the couch, and throwing her over my shoulder, I set her on the kitchen counter.
"I could just look at you all day baby." I say looking directly into her light baby blue eyes, and stroking her thick brown hair lightly with my fingertips.
"I could look at you all day too baby, but unfortunately we have to go see my mother." Alicia says as she rolls her eyes, and lays her head on my shoulder.
"it will be fun! I've never met her." I say in return.
"I think she'll like you, but let's not get our hopes up. the woman barely likes me." Alicia says.
I give her a kiss, then pick her up and take her to her bedroom.
"pick me out something to wear Duffy, I don't feel like it." she says in a pouty voice.
I go over to Alicia's mirrored closet doors and slide them open.
I pick out a Guns T-shirt (of course), black jeans, and a pair of black high top converse. those are her favorite shoes of all time.
I myself wear a cbgb shirt with a jean jacket thrown over top of it, black jeans, and boots of course. nothing special.

after we both get our clothes on, Alicia goes into the living room to call her best friend Jen.
Alicia's POV
I'm calling Jen and I'm nervous. I really don't know why I should be because she literally doesn't give a shit, she'll go along with anything.
and before I know it, she picks up.
"Jen, oh my gosh, hey!!" I say through the phone.
"hey babe, how's it going?!" she says in return.
"pretty good, I just miss you. hurry back!"
"I should be leaving the day after tomorrow if all goes well." she says.
"that's great! Steven misses you a lot, but there's something I have to tell you." I say with slight hesitation. what if she's upset with me? what if she thinks I'm rushing into things?
"okay babe, shoot." she says.
"well things with Duff and I have been getting pretty serious, and.... I'm pregnant." there it is, the last person I have to tell. of course there's Duffs parents but he'll mostly be dealing with that.
"OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I can't believe this! congratulations Allie, I'll be home ASAP!" she says. I can hear her hands clapping in the background.
"so you don't think I'm rushing? do you think this is a good idea?" I say back.
"this is perfect, Alicia. I know you and Duff are in love. you will make great parents." Jen says.
"thank you Jen, I love you. I have to go if I wanna catch my flight, Duff and I are going to visit my mother." I say.
"okay, I love you too chick!" she says, and I put the phone down.
"Duff are you ready babe?" I say as I poke my head into the bedroom.
"as ready as I'll ever be." he says as he grabs our bags, and we walk out of the door.
Duffs POV
we arrive at the airport and wait for our flight to be called.
we'll be going to Houston Texas, that's where Alicia is from.
after about 30 minutes of waiting, our flight is called and we get on the plane and take our seats. Alicia has a window seat, and I'm setting next to her.
Alicia immediately falls asleep as soon as we set down.
this is gonna be an uncomfortable ride. after all, I'm nervous about meeting Alicia's mother.
